I have a theater production project that was shot with a Sony HD cam and a GoPro. The GoPro recorded the entire production but in a series of clips approx 17 minutes long for each clip. I did a similar project last month and used the Sony clip (which was the entire one act play) and the first GoPro clip in the multi-cam setup very nicely. When it came time to add the second GoPro clip, I could not figure out how to get it into the multi-cam mode in sync with the Sony clip. So, stopped the multi-cam and just did a very time consuming edit process that worked but was tedious. This time around, I am trying something different. I made a sequence of the entire show from the GoPro clips and another sequence from the Sony clips (there were two Sony clips because it was a two act play and recording stopped for intermission).
I am now trying to use these sequences as the sources for a multi-cam edit but cannot get them to line up using the Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence window. Tried using the audio but PPro could not match the audio.....so I laid down corresponding markers on the two sequences and tried to have PPro use those to sync with but the "Clip Marker" option is greyed out in the Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence.
If using sequences will not work, any thoughts about another approach will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bryan
