With this update it sometimes thinks my MP4 file is an audio file. Never had that problem before today.

Media Encoding Proxies - TAKING FOREVER! 😫
Hey everyone!
First time to the forums as I'm a new Premiere Pro user, although not new to editing or NLE's.
I have come mainly from FCP7 and FCPX then to PP CC 2019. My issue is with creating proxies and the time it is taking, I'll list all specs of my machine, files types and whatever else I can below.
iMac (Retina 5K, 27" 2017
Processor 3.5
40GB 2400 Mhz DDR4
Startup Disk Mactintosh HD
Graphics Radeon Pro 575 4096mb
The original files I am encoding:
I am ingesting using:
Format - QuickTime
Preset: GoPro Cineform 1024 x 540.
Original files stored on a Lacie HDD and encoding proxies WERE originally going back to the same drive, but I was advised this would be bottle necking the process so I have sent them temporarily to my iMac's Fusion drive. This has sped things up but still VERY slow.
Total file size for encoding is 750GB, so yes I don't expect it to be lightening but its been at least two days and I'm not even half way!
Is this just down to my iMac not being up for the task?
Or something else?
I look forward to any guidance!

Keyframes Audiospur Aktion funktioniert nicht
Hallo ihr Lieben,
ich habe ein Problem. Ich regle die Audiospuren Lautstärke über Keyframes. Das funktioniert auch gut, nur bei meinem aktuellen Projekt scheine ich irgendeine Einstellung getätigt zu haben, sodass ich zwar Keyframes setzen kann, aber der Ton sich nicht verändert in der Lautstärke beim Abspielen.
Kann mir jemand helfen?

Workspace isn't my preferred setting for new project
I've been having problems with Premiere Pro CC 2019 not opening in my preferred workspace when starting a new project. I have a dual screen setup, and I have saved my custom workspace. But lately, when I start a new project, my workspace does not open, and I can't get the project to change to my saved workspace, even after I select "Reset to Saved Layout" on the Workspace bar. I thought I found the trick to get it to use my workspace when starting a new project by saving a new copy of my workspace, but that's still not opening with my custom workspace! Someone mentioned turning off the "Import Workspace from Projects" button, and I tried that, but it didn't help for new projects. What seems to be happening is that Premiere does not like to open with the "Project" tab as a separate panel not connected to any other panel. Everytime I start a new project, the Project panel is in a group with Media Browser, Effects, Info, History and Captions panels. Any ideas?

Premiere CC and Quadro Cards don't mix for me
This has been an ongoing issue for me since I got a new box (Dual Xeon, Quadro K5200, 64 GB RAM). It ONLY happens when using or launching Premiere Pro CC: The video diver crashes (I can still hear the audio playing) causing a black screen, forcing me to hard reset. THis has gone on through multiple versions of PP CC (since 2016) and I have religiously updated the Quadro drivers. It's now happening on another Windows 10 system (laptop) with a Quadro P3000. ANyone else have this issue and/or solutions?

Exportar Video formato Vertical
Boa tarde toda vez que vou exportar o video no adobe premiere pro, tanto o 2018 quanto o 2019 no formato vertical (1080 x 1920) formato para celular exporta normal porém, quando vou reproduzir no meu celular ele fica em tela preta só sai áudio. Gostaria de uma ajuda com este problema pois faço muito material neste formato.

Proxie creation freezes and fails CC 2019 .02
I've recently had a problem while trying to create proxies of C200 Raw files. They'll start in Media Encoder, but after awhile they just stop. The elapsed time fails to continue, the estimated time doesn't change. It just freezes. I have to force close the application to do anything inside the application again.
I have an MSI Laptop with i7-6700HQ, 16gb ram, and 1060 running Windows 10.
Any insight would be appreciated. Raw files on this computer in Premiere chug.

Premiere Pro crashing
Hi! I've been having this problem for the past week and I've been wondering if anyone would know how to fix it. My Premiere Pro keeps crashing at varied time. Sometimes it crashes instantly, as soon as I open up Premiere. Sometimes it takes about 15 minutes before it inevitably crashes. In the end, the program crashes and I lose everything that I've worked on. Is there any solutions out there? Thanks!

No video in program monitor or source monitor (macOS)
I am also having this issue with the 2019 update. We have a few edit suites at work. All trash can mac pros, not very old. 2 edit bays are working fine on the update and 2 are not working at all. Same empty source and program monitors, lots of lagging, crashing and unresponsive issues.

Help! Adobe premiere exporting mp4 'high quality' files in BAD quality SLOW MOTION
I have done everything!
I have the settings all checked - H.264, use maximum render quality, render at maximum depth, match sequence settings, I tried to do it youtube export 4k, vbr 2, square pixels, 5.2 level, high profile, Like What Am I Doing Wrong? Perhaps it's nothing - Like I have checked, Maybe it's my computer (MacBook pro 2014), the software is up to date.
When I export as in mpeg It's FINE - like it's not in Slow Motion!
If anyone has any tips or can help, please let me know!

After relocating (or converting files) clips are not cut at the initial time
Hi sorry for the broken english as I'm French,
I've recently moved my project files but I don't think I did anything wrong, tried opening my project and was ask to relocate the files, no problem, and had to convert my project files since it was apparently an older version.
The project loads fine but all my clips are cut differently, almost all of them, like for exemple if i was using 3 sec from a clip it's still now 3 sec but from somewhere completely different in that clip.
Did I miss something or did something wrong?

13.0.2 Slow Playback
Ever since upgrading to 13.0.2, playback of 4K ProRes video files has been extremely slow - stuttering. Reverted to 13.0.1 and all is normal. Haven't tested on non-ProRes footage yet.

All versions of Premiere refuse to boot
I've been running Premiere 2017 on my machine for about a year now, no problems. Today, after a crash, it simply refused to boot. Just hung on that opening screen, appeared briefly on my Task manager, and then just crashed and popped up the Send error report to Adobe window. I reset my preferences, removed plugins, same deal. Uninstalled and reinstalled it, no go. Uninstalled it again and then tried installing Premiere CC 2019 and running that, exact same issue.
There have been no other changes made to the PC. hardware or software, that could cause this.
Specs:
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 5700 series (drivers up to date)
Processor AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor, 3200 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
16GB Ram
I've also tried messing around with permissions and such, running the applications as administrator, different users, all to no avail.
Does anyone else have any idea what could be causing this, or a fix? I really need to get back to work here.

"The File has no audio or video streams" while importing certain .mov and .mp4 files (Windows)
For starters, my specs are as follows:
Machine: ASUS G74SX ACPI x64-based PC
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @2.00GHz
RAM: 12.0 GB
System type: 64-bit
Windows: Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M (This is soldered on. I cannot replace or change it)
Version of Premiere: Premiere pro CC 12.0 (Kentos); 12.11 (Build 10)
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, here's what's going on:
There seems to be something within certain .mov and .mp4 files that's not allowing this specific version of Premiere to import them. I say this because I have another, slightly older version of Premiere on my mac, and it imports the same files just fine. In fact, as a part of the project I'm working on, I had to use that to convert the videos to mp4s that the Premiere on Windows would like. I have also never, ever had this issue before, and I've been using Premiere for about 8 years, now. Keep in mind here, there are some other .mp4 and .mov files that I've been able to import without issue.
I have been able to open the problematic files with Quicktime (which I've installed, uninstalled, and then re-installed as of last night) and VLE. I have also been able to convert .mov files into .mp4 from VLE, but never able to import those into this version of Premiere. These particular files do not have any kind of camera attached to them, as they were originally exported from animation programs (TVPaint, specifically), but I've been able to import stuff from there in previous Windows versions of Premiere.
Another note here: I've tried importing these files with Media Encoder, but I pretty much get the same message for some reason.
Could this be a bug, or something wrong with Quicktime, or something else that's up?

Premiere Pro and Audition
Hello, my name is Dahli, and I am currently experiencing a difficulty in Premiere Pro.
I am fairly experienced with premiere, I can do basic things like use the razor tool and I can go as far as adding effects and editing audio and stuff like that, but I need help with something. I am editing a gaming video for my YouTube channel.
The thing is, I want to trim an hour long clip in various sections and make it shorter. The other thing is, there is a bit of background noise in the audio and I want to open the audio in audition to fix the audio and then reflect the changes back into premiere.
I am wondering should I edit the audio first in audition and then send it back to premiere and then edit the video or edit the video first and then edit the audio after in audition?
If I edit the audio after I edit the video, I will end up with more than one audio file in the sequence (because I am going to be trimming away the stuff I don’t need) and I will have to go and send each audio clip into audition one by one. So my other question, is there a better way to do this? If I edit the video first, will I be able to edit the audio as a single clip/sequence in audition after it’s been trimmed or will I have to edit each clipped section in audition one by one. Or is there a better way to do this?

Premiere Pro CC not opening
It loads as usual, then alerts me that there is some offline media. No big deal, it happens. So I tell it to offline and the program pretends to load, but NEVER does. I've tried uninstalling and it still won't work. I've tried older versions and even tried opening different projects. Still won't load. I'm working with an iMac High Sierra 10.13.6

dvaaudiofilterscan?
Hi,
So I just did a fresh install of OSX Mojave. Then I installed Premiere CC. On my dock I now have an icon for a plug-in scan. If I hover over it, dvaaudiofilterscan pops up. I searched to find out what this is and got no concise answer. In fact, there was some indication this is malware from Adobe. Can anybody explain what this is and whether it is a concern? Thanks

Premier pro suddenly not working properly
I was able to edit my short videos for youtube these past few weeks without any problem until today. Premier pro keeps getting stuck, not opening videos and displaying a "media pending" message on the screen. Help!

Zooming
I am having problems on Premier Pro with zooming in/out of pictures via keyframes. I can make a picture size 100 then add a keyframe a few seconds later that has the size 50. As the video rolls, I can see the literal keyframe numbers decreasing, but the picture in the actual video itself does not decrease in size. Why won't the picture actually zoom in/out while I am editing? And is there a way that I can fix that?
