Is Adobe Premiere CC a professional program?

The program crashes constantly.For example, if I zoom in or out of the timeline.
And when I restart the program, I have to wait 10 minutes each time until all data are loaded.

These are rmf data, raw data from professional Canon Cinema cameras.

Is Adobe Premiere not ready to work with such data?
It totally annoys.A professional work for customers is so impossible.
My system is new and meets the minimum requirements by far.

I'm having all sorts of issues with playback and general functionality on Premiere 13.0.2 on my 15" 2018 Macbook Pro (OS10.14.2, 2.2ghz i7, 32GB Ram, Radeon Pro 560X, 1TB SSD)

 

The problems started a few weeks ago, having had seamless use for months. I am using 4k 422 files and can only get playback once before Premiere becomes non-responsive, and eventually crashes.

 

I've tried: resetting Premiere prefs and changing the cache, changing the GPU to Metal and Software only, tried fiddling with the amount of RAM allocated, tried turning off any effects and reducing the playback quality to 1/4. I've also rolled Premiere back to previous versions to no success. The GPU appears to be running very hot and that's without anything really happening as Premiere has by this stage crashed.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not having much luck with some DJI Osmo+ footage that I have imported to Premiere Pro CC 2019. The files are:

 

1080p 25fps

AAC, H.264

Colour profile 1-1-1

 

I can import the files no problem, but when I try and preview them, I get a blank preview monitor. I have tried playing a 1/2 resolution as well.

 

When I transcode to H.264 at 'match bitrate' this doesn't work either. I do get an error on opening the project: A low-level exception occurred in: Adobe Scopes (Transmit:: Create Instance). Not sure if that has something to do with it.

 

I've rolled back from 13.0.1 but no luck. However, on PP CC 2017, everything works fine.

 

I'm running High Sierra 10.14.2 on a late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina 15" with 16gb RAM.

 

Any thoughts as to why this might be problematic? Perhaps the wrapper?

Once again I am getting rendering / encoding issues. They are really bad this time. I can't render any video at this point, it keeps kicking out the error compiling video (see below) - The biggest issue is that it is giving me errors for a timestamp that does not exist!!! (also see below)

 

NOTES:

i7-6700K

GTX1070

32GB RAM

ATX gaming motherboard

Windows 10 64

Latest Premiere

Latest Encoder

Latest Drivers for everything relevant.

Hi! Just realised I'm still on version Premiere 2014.2 (not sure why as always click updates??!) .... so I want to upgrade to current Premiere. Two questions:

 

1. Are there any issues or risks I should take into account?

 

I've been checking out some audio issues recently online and have read that some Premiere project audio files get lost when doing a Premiere upgrade with a big jump across versions - is there any proven and tested advice about this issue with audio files? Or any other issues with upgrading? I have several important projects that I am currently working on and it would be a big problem if the project files got disrupted.

 

2. How can I ensure that my version of Premiere gets automatically upgraded?

Since my latest update of Premiere Pro I seem to be missing the Lumetri Color effects in my Effect Controls panel. Any way to get this back? I've got footage in an existing edit which has Lumetri applied which I just want to copy as I always have done. But all of the sudden it's not there anymore and I can clearly see the footage of the existing edit is graded.

 

Any ideas?

Hi, im using Premire Pro CC(v12.1.2), a couple days ago i start editing a new video but suddenly mid editing my timeline stop working and when i press "play" the video wont play so i tried to restart premire and still the something happens and sometimes the videos that i imported wont load. I tried to use a new project but the problem still keep happening. If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated thank you

Hi,im using adobe premiere pro 2018 (v.12.1.2) when i was editing a few weeks ago my timeline started freezing, i tried restarting premiere pro but the problem still happens, also i tried clearing the cache and the problem still happens. the problem is like this Premiere Pro cannot play the video PROBLEM SOLVED - YouTube but my audio hardware is already set to MME.

Hello
In version 2018 I can not see the templates for the titles I could open before in legacy titles. The template icon has disappeared. I have imported the templates again in the 2018 presets folder, but the button does not appear.Is that true at premiere 2018?

Hi,

 

Here is my workflow.  All of my original 4K A7s II footage is on an external drive and sits in the same folder.  I've made Proxy files with Premiere and those files sit on another external drive in its own folder.  I attached the proxies using right-click then Proxy>Attach Proxies>then found the folder>hit search to confirm the files, then once found hit the OK button.  It takes a couple of minutes and then everything attaches and the footage plays smoothly.

 

At the end of the day I SAVE AS the project and re-name it to today's date as a back up.  No folders or drives change names or locations.

 

The next day, the Proxy files are not attached and I have to attach them everyday.  So my question is, every time I save the project and rename it to today's date, does it un-attach the proxy files?  Or am I missing something?

When playing the mp4 in windows media player it works fine, when I import the file into premiere pro 2019 the video is degraded.

Hello,

 

How can i zoom in a video in a overlay video?

It is not possible through scale. Then the image is larger and that should not be.

It must be a small screen in the corner. It revolves around the main image.

 

Is there any other way to zoom the overlay video?

The little screen need to be zoom in the airplane.

Hello. I am experiencing an issue with Premiere's capture feature where there is no preview in the capture window.

 

Hooked up to the computer is a DataVideo SE-900 for video capture. Everything is connected correctly because it still is able to record both Audio and Video, however no preview window appears.

 

This is not a major issue however it is relatively annoying to me and my job so if anybody has a possible solution please comment. Below is an image of what I see.

I hope this is in the right place. Premiere Pro was working just fine a weeks ago but when i tried to use it today it kept crashing at "Loading ImporterQuickTime.prm"

I've looked all over the place and tried to do some of the stuff recommended but it hasn't worked. Please help!

What I did-

Uninstall/Reinstall

Updated all video and graphics drivers

Opened as Admin

Tried Compatibility

Added to trusted on Firewall

Turn off my AMD graphics in device manager(this let me open it but i dont want to turn off my AMD to use this program)

For some reason when I move the position of an effect random black lines appear on the exported footage. I can't see them during the editing though unless I click on Motion. How can I resolve this issue?

Upon starting up Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015, it begins to start up then it suddenly gives me and error message followed by the program closing. Now what's odd about this is that it has only started doing this today. I tried doing what it said and updating my video drivers which is my Nvidia GTX 750 Ti. After updating it, I restarted my computer and the program once again on start up gave me the same message. So after this, I uninstall the program and reinstall it just to see if that would also fix the issue, but once again it never worked.

My PC specs:

• Intel Core i5-4460
• Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti
• 8GB RAM
• Windows 10 64-Bit

I have no idea what I can do and I really need to get back to editing as soon as possible. Can anyone help me to try and fix this problem?

Footage that was fine this morning is absolutely unusable after the update - looking like its 4 stops brighter etc. I suspect its a quicktime codec thing....... thats what was updated was it not? I have footage from a GH5 internal - thats all fine. Just the Pro-Res material is COMPLETELY broken.

 

What can we do to use the software? This is yet another layer of nightmare for us. We are getting absolutely hammered by Adobes broken software. Patch on patch that bring more issues and resolve very little...

 

Again - this patch is unusable for professionals. I advise - do not use it at this stage.

Hello!

 

I have been having this issue for awhile now. When I am adding markers to audio (by clicking “m” on my keyboard) there seems to be a delay. It never fails, you can see in the timeline that it “freezes/delayed” I will click “m” and it won’t add the marker until a few milliseconds and at times a second. Has anyone experienced this? If yes, do you have a solution?

For some reason, in ALL (across multiple project files and sequences within 1 project file) of my synced audio/video created in Premiere 2018 has now been shifted over for some reason as seen below. It's done this in mutlicam sequences and just synced files. I've attached images of both.

 

Anyone have any clue what happened here?

 

This is the multicam sequence and was rendered in 2018 with zero issues.      This is just 1 video file with 2 audio files.
