Will it one day soon be possible when in list view in the bin, with thumbnails on, to have a larger thumbnail view. I have a high rez Dell 30" monitor and even if I reduce the resolution to 1920 X 1080 the thumnails are minute.

How could I put subtitles at the bottom of the screen?
Hello all,
Currently, the built-in subtitling system only allows subtitles to be near the bottom, not on the bottom.
Is there a plugin or method to do this quite easily?
My current method is: Manually creating a black box, moving it to the bottom of the screen, lowering opacity and then copying it and changing the text. This isn't very efficient, quite lengthy time wise.
My other method is to use the built-in captions on a blank video then export it and then position it, while it is quicker, making changes means I have to go back to the blank project and re-export it. This can be very lengthy when going through the approval stage.
Any other ideas/methods that are more efficient?

why when i double click on a clip in premiere it showed the clip cropped in the source monitor?
it only do it in 4k clips.
but the source monitor should show the original clip as it is.
it wasn't like that before.

Capture Preview not appearing.
Hello. I am experiencing an issue with Premiere's capture feature where there is no preview in the capture window.
Hooked up to the computer is a DataVideo SE-900 for video capture. Everything is connected correctly because it still is able to record both Audio and Video, however no preview window appears.
This is not a major issue however it is relatively annoying to me and my job so if anybody has a possible solution please comment. Below is an image of what I see.

premiere pro cc . colour corrected clips exporting with original clip names with corrected footage
we did a bad colour , exposure , video coverage , premiere pro cc 2019 on colour correction process it is good now , i don't know how to export the recorded clips with original clip names as recorded with my correction now , i tried exporting many times in project manager . it only exports the actual footage , on video preview folder it is exported to with colour correction on very different names as rendered files ....please help to export my video clips with same names as clips as i recorded ---advance thanks to experts

Premier Pro 13.0 crashes NO MATTER WHAT
Hi, I've owned my laptop for over a year now and all the way until October it was working fine. It's a stock ASUS ROG GL553VD, here are the specs:
Sadly I cannot give you any crash reports as the PC does not give any, I've looked in AppData and nothing. All I get is a white screen followed by a complete shutdown of the program. There is no pattern. It has happened on multiple projects performing varying tasks.
The PC has had Windows 10 reinstalled twice and complete wipes of the drives (128GB m.2 and 1TB HDD) and the problem is still here. The Only log of any kind is get is in the form of a notification saying "Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware" but this only shows up 1/10 times it crashes. All drives have been updated with drivereasy.

Premiere Pro CC 2018 - Import Media Crashing
Hi Everyone,
I have an issue importing media from the media browser of my Premiere Pro CC 2018 as it immediately crashes once import begins.
Before writing this thread, I had a look at several forums and taken the below measures:
- Re-install Premiere Pro CC 2018
- Moved to Mercury Playback Engine Software only
- Change project view to list and hover scrubs
- Proceed to ingest the media either with Apple ProRes or Apple ProRes proxies
Unfortunately, none of these nor their combination have worked.
My MacBook Pro is brand new with the following specs:
- MacBook Pro: (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)
- Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
- Memory:16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
- Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB
I hope I can find the solution as it would like to start working on it.

How to disable both Renderers "MPE GPU Accelartion (OpenCL)" and "MPE Software Only"?
An year ago I somehow (I don't remember how) could disable both the renderers, it helped me avoid any Freeze or Crash during rendering and while making my video.
I have the latest Premiere Pro and have AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series.

Weird errors in my laptop
I got a new laptop 9 month ago (Lenovo Ideapad 520 i5 8250u, 8GB RAM, Nvidia mx150), and since I got it i have been have all kind of errors, I worked on nearly 10-15 project not a single on of them worked fine either an unexplained slow playback( like on 1080 24fps), GPU Render errors, render stops randomly without giving any error, premiere not responding, premiere won't open and the list goes on,
I even one day tried some new settings in nvidia control panel which seemed to be working fine, the video rendered fast and smoothly even though I was having issues rendering it for a week, but later that night I made a tiny edit ( replaced a shot with another shot from the same shooting day, no new codecs, no new effects) and then it won't render again and started to have the same issues from before, even though nor windows or Nvidia driver or premiere had any updated or changes
Usually whenever I'm having any problems I collect the project and render it on my friends laptop which is ( i7 7500u, 8GB RAM, nvidia 920mx ) there benchmarks are slower than mine but I never get these errors on his laptop.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling windows, premiere pro (cc 2018 and cc 2019) and nvidia driver countless times
I thing there's something wrong that causing compatibility issues, I don't know I'm just guessing, becuase it works fine for one time or couple of days ( which proves that it's able to work smoothly ) but then I start having the same issues again.

zoom in overlay video
Hello,
How can i zoom in a video in a overlay video?
It is not possible through scale. Then the image is larger and that should not be.
It must be a small screen in the corner. It revolves around the main image.
Is there any other way to zoom the overlay video?
The little screen need to be zoom in the airplane.

Some videos won't import into Premiere while others (of the same type) do
Hi there,
I'm having some issues trying to ingest files into my project. They're all MXF files shot either on the Sony FS7 and FS5. When I ingest the various card folders into premiere, some will load just fine while others won't even show up. I have this issue with files from both cameras. Any idea what could be causing this?
It happens on both version 13 and 12 of Premiere.
I'm running a 2017 iMac Pro with Mojave and
2.5 GHz Intel Xeon W
64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4

Premier Pro 2019 - no video in program monitor or source monitor
anyone have any ideas what is causing this? it plays audio fine but the video doesn't play. video plays fine in after effects and media encoder. I exported from timeline to encoder and it shows there and I created an AE comp from within premier and it played fine in AE. It just doesn't show in premier. My system windows 10. All updated. nvidoa Quadro m5000 card.
I installed Nvidia cuda toolkit and after that it does this..tried install and reinstall. If anyone can help thank you!

Premiere 2019 clipping synced video
For some reason, in ALL (across multiple project files and sequences within 1 project file) of my synced audio/video created in Premiere 2018 has now been shifted over for some reason as seen below. It's done this in mutlicam sequences and just synced files. I've attached images of both.
Anyone have any clue what happened here?
This is the multicam sequence and was rendered in 2018 with zero issues. This is just 1 video file with 2 audio files.

Team Project Workflow
I am working in team with team members in a different location and we are all working on the same project. I have 25+ years of software development in large teams, so I'm familiar with the concepts and workflows, in general. The Adobe Team Project mechanism seems to be missing a few key features, but I thought there may be work around for some of these issues.
#1 Revert/Abandon all Changes
Many times I am looking at the project and Premiere thinks I am changing it because I modified a setting (e.g. mute/solo a track) or maybe I actually made a change that I really don't want to keep. There is no way to abandon all changes since the last sync. You can only go forward. In a non-team program you would do this by exiting the program and simply not saving your changes. There seems to be no equivalent in Team Projects.
#2 What Changed
When pushing changes to the cloud you are provided with a comments box and a list of changed assets, but later when you look back at the previous changes you only see the comments. There appears to be no way to know what assets changed from one version to another after the push. A super detailed comment might provide more insight, but having it be automated and consistent would be best. The comment is for why you made the change and a brief summary of what changed. The system should tell you what assets were changed from version to version and be 100% definitive.
#3 Save As Locally
As we go along we want to save checkpoint copies of the project to a local profile file. The Save As creates a whole new Team Project, but it would be nice to be able to Save As to a local file project in one step. Right now have to Save As, then Convert that Team Project to a Local project. Then Archive the copy of the Team Project so that I can then delete the archive. At first I found that converting the current Team Project to a Local project seemed to work, as the Team Project was still there and shared. But days later, after many changes went into this Team Project, we discovered that it was no longer sharing those changes with the collaborators. So Converting a project isn't doing a Save As Local, or if it is then its a bug that it is stopping sharing at that point. And without any notification or indication.

Voice Recording - Best Practices for Post
I have a question for anyone who does voice recording of an actor or voice talent.
Assume once you're done recording (or shooting) that getting that actor back for a pickup line is cost prohibitive. Does anyone have a generic sentence or phrase they ask the actor to record to capture all the basic speech structures so you have what you need in your editing toolbox if/when you run into a missed word or a word that gets stepped on by a background sound?

Proxy files won't stay attached, re-attaching everyday!
Hi,
Here is my workflow. All of my original 4K A7s II footage is on an external drive and sits in the same folder. I've made Proxy files with Premiere and those files sit on another external drive in its own folder. I attached the proxies using right-click then Proxy>Attach Proxies>then found the folder>hit search to confirm the files, then once found hit the OK button. It takes a couple of minutes and then everything attaches and the footage plays smoothly.
At the end of the day I SAVE AS the project and re-name it to today's date as a back up. No folders or drives change names or locations.
The next day, the Proxy files are not attached and I have to attach them everyday. So my question is, every time I save the project and rename it to today's date, does it un-attach the proxy files? Or am I missing something?

Bug: Timeline playback is extremely laggy in CC 2019
I'd classify the current timeline playback implementation as very buggy in the most recent release. I'm running with up to date Nvidia drivers (with the latest version of Cuda), and in testing a project on the previous version and this version, the playback lag rendered editing in CC 2019 completely unusable.
Is anyone else dealing with similar issues? I'm on a Windows PC laptop, i7-7700HQ, 32 Gigs of ram. The previous version worked perfectly for editing GH5 10-bit footage. As a test, I have the same project setup in Davinci Resolve 15, and it plays and perfectly with zero lag.
Adobe, please fix the playback and Cuda acceleration problems in the latest version!

trial version expired Premiere Pro (but I've 'purchased' Adobe creative cloud)
