    Hi there,


    I was going to try Premiere CC for the first time, but when I run Premiere CC, the following error appears: "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again."


    Both my Windows and GPU are fully updated.


    Does anyone know how to fix this error?


    My comp:

    Intel G4560 3.5Ghz

    8GB RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400MHz

    GPU Geforce GTX 1060

    I'm using PP to gather several short MP4 clips, speed them all up, and export them as a single video file. However, the software appears to be inserting red frames in between the various clips. These red frames are present both in the editing timeline and the exported file. I haven't added any transitions or effects, I'm simply trying to combine clips and accelerate them to 3x speed. I've tried turning off accelerated h.264 decoding to no avail. My understanding is that Premiere adds these red frames when it cannot interpret frames from the source material, but I don't know why this would be happening in between my clips and I'm not sure how to fix the issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

    I don't remember having this issue in premiere before, so I think it's some preference in the new version that I can turn off. I can't find it.


    I want to turn off this gray dialogue box that appears after I hover over a clip. Usually when I want to change audio levels it covers the audio box after hitting "g".

    An year ago I somehow (I don't remember how) could disable both the renderers, it helped me avoid any Freeze or Crash during rendering and while making my video.


    I have the latest Premiere Pro and have AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series.

    Up until yesterday, my program was working fine. I added the warp stabilizer to one shot on my timeline and everything went downhill. The playback stopped working, no scrubbing, no audio and the tilda shortcut causes a glitch and doesn't make anything go full screen (pic below of what happens). I have restarted the program, restarted my Mac, and then left the program alone for 24 hours now and it's still doing the same thing. Any new project I start does the same thing, so I'm assuming it wasn't anything to do with the warp stabilizer effect or that certain project itself. When I close PP it goes to a black screen and I have to force close it. I have tried the render settings and it didn't do anything. I'm also getting error code that the program has low exception levels in Adobe Scopes. I'm frustrated because this is a pricey product, and I'm on a deadline. I'm not sure what to do at this point because when I try to call customer. service I am on hold for over 30 minutes.

    Hey guys,


    beginners question: I worked on a video (had many different clips in this sequence) and saved it. Now that I reopened Premiere, it only shows the whole sequence in the timeline, not the clips that I had there before. How can I go back to showing the clips in the timeline instead of the sequence?


    I know this is probably a really basic question, but I couldn't find a solution online. So, thanks a lot for helping. I wasn't finished on some of the clips inside of the sequence and now I am not able to work on them individually anymore. I can only edit the whole sequence.

    I'm having launch error too. Just installed the trial version of Premiere CC and just as the Program shows the title a dialogue box appears: Adobe Premiere Pro CC has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.


    I am using a Dell Latitude Windows 7 laptop. I had used CS6 and it worked just fine. I have the NVIDIA NVS 5200M graphics card and the intel(R) HD Graphics 4000.


    I've updated both drivers for the graphics card and still have the issue of not being able to launch the program beyond the first Premiere CC purple opening screen. I've installed other programs from the Creative Cloud and they open just fine. Most ask for me to sign in though, and Premiere doesn't get that far.


    Any suggestions for anything else I could try to resolve the issue? I've uninstalled Premiere CC and reinstalled three times already in hopes that that would make a difference.

    Since my last problem, I've finished several videos with just weird font errors, but now it won't even open the options box for exporting. I finished editing > File > Export. I clicked Export, and nothing happens. Usually the box opens that gives me all my options for export, but it doesn't even show up. I've tried closing and opening the program several times, tried the hotkey for export, and I've tried to find another way to export the video. Nothing works...

    For some reason Premier is being REALLY buggy lately. Which is weird, because I never had a problem before last month or so.


    The latest I can be done with this video is tomorrow. I really need help.

    Add me as another user who just installed Premiere Pro CC and it will not launch, receiving the "Stopped Working" error message as well.


    Update: Uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled and it still crashes at launch. Gets to the point where it says something like "Updating f4V" and then the error dialog appears.: U


    Update 2: Updated intel hd4000 graphics driver and it's now launching.

    So that we have a more recent addition to this tale of woe, I am having the same ("...stopped working...") problem. I am therefore forced to (continue to) use CS6. I'm on a Windows 7 (64) platform. Is this ever going to get resolved in such a way that it won't require an engineer to figure it out?

    Having the same issue, "Stopped Working" on network users but not Local only account.


    I then coppied the %MyDocuments%\adobe\Premier Pro\7.0\ directory from a working user and renamed Profile-<WorkingUser> to the relavant User ID and that looks to Fix it.

    Win7 x64


    Dear Adobe WHY have the User ID? Its already in "My Documents"....

    I'm having a problem with Premiere as well. I just downloaded the trial version, which went fine, but when I went to open it, nothing happened. I searched for it in my apps, my control panel, my downloads- completely blank. Creative Cloud seems to be working fine, but Premiere won't open. I'm using Windows 8 and my laptop is fairly new so I can't figure out if I'm just stupidly missing something or if there's a problem. I really need this app working ASAP or I'll be stuck with Movie Maker, and I really do not want that.


    Please help!

    When I type a query into the search field, Adobe Premiere Pro cc 2018 now displays results found in Windows 10 File Explorer, not results found in the clip names of Premiere Pro.


    For example: I want to find clips of shot 84, so I type "84" into the search field. But this is what comes up:



    Obviously, shot 25B is not what I'm looking for. But you will see an "84" in the description, because the search panel is displaying the File Explorer results for a clip with "84" in the original file name, specifically "MVI_2684.MOV":




    However, searching with the <CTRL><F> find feature brings up the correct results (i.e., the results with "84" in the Premiere Pro clip name):



    Why is this happening? I've never had this problem before. How do I change the search panel options back to display results of Premiere Pro clip names instead of Windows File Explorer names?

    Hello, I've just bought a new laptop and have just signed up for CC, I downloaded photoshop, after effects, indesign, illustrator, audiction and première, but première is doesn't launch. I have a Windows 8, 64bit, what can I do, I really need to open première urgently. Thank you!

    I did the clean installation, I used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, and I could use the Premiere CC once, and now, it doesn't launch again. The message is the Windows noticed that Premiere CC has stopped. What can I do?

    I have win 10. PP CC 2015 was working fine till recent update 2 days ago. Now application wont launch.  One thing I do not have is a compatible graphics card but it was working fine till 2 days ago. Now it wont launch. It throws error The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000142). Click ok to close the application.  WTF!  I cant find resolution I have reinstalled with cleaning and deleting preferences etc;

    After the recent update a few days ago I am having the same problems with Premiere and After Effects getting the "Appcrash" error.

    Uninstalled, reinstalled, updated graphics card driver. On an AMD system. Installing older version of CC for now. Any help Adobe?
