Can't import Final Cut Pro X XML into Premiere Pro CS 5.5.1

I export a project from Final Cut Pro X 10.0.1 as an XML file, as described here: http://help.apple.com/finalcutpro/mac/10.0.1/#verdbd66ae - and get an .fcpxml file.

Then I go to Premiere Pro and do everything by the book: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/premierepro/cs/using/WSd9957a95a81082eb28f 05af5126718c47be-8000.html (I don't just close the project, but also tried quitting FCPX), but my .fcpxml is just grayed out in the list of files in PPro Import window. 

What's wrong? I found no information that Premiere Pro CS 5.5.1 doesn't support .fcpxml files.
