wmv files stretched

Hi, I am fairly new to this, Can some one pls help me as i just moved from movie maker , all the wmv files comes stretched out (ie zoomed in twice the size).
Is there a way to resize the video size (not the length) but the actual viewable screen size?

I am using cs 5.5 on windows 7 if that helps
