I'm testing using a simple 3-clip timeline in Avid Media Composer 6.5 on a Mac. The media exists as DNxHD 115. No effects, nothing. Just a vanilla test sequence.
I export using every combination of AAF settings:
-- AAF Edit Protocol toggle on/off
-- Link to media, copy media, consolidate media, embedded media... everything
... and nothing works.
I'm able to import the timeline into Premiere CS6 but all the media shows as offline. When I manually try to link the media to one of the MXF files I get a "generic import error."
I'm sure I must be missing something fundamental here! I thought this was a highly touted feature of Premiere CS6.
