I want to rip some short video clips from commercially sold DVDs to use for class lectures (I'm an instructor).
1. Can anyone recommend a program for ripping video from DVDs?
2. Does anyone know how the Fair Use law works when you want to rip video from a DVD to provide a movie review on a blog or talk about an actor, etc.? What is the maximum length you can rip and use?
3. Do all DVDs have some copy protection that prevents ripping, or do only some of them have it?
