Is there a way to delete unused (as in, no longer used) preview files that Premiere creates?
FIRST - Say you have an effect on a clip. You preview it out. A preview file is created.
SECOND - You then remove the effect and apply a whole new effect. You preview it out. A preview file is created.
As I understand it now, both the second AND THE FIRST preview files remain on the system, despite the fact that it is now impossible for Premiere to ever again use your first preview render. Am I wrong on this point?
If I'm not wrong, is there a way to delete all unused preview files so they're not cluttering up my harddrive?
