Light laptop for video editing?

Hi,

I'm heading on a long trip in Asia where I'll be doing video editing on the go a lot. I'm open to either Mac or PC, with a preference for PC. Can anyone advise me on the best weight versus performance compromise?

I was thinking of going for a Dell XPS 13 with this setup:

• 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3537U processor (4M Cache, up to 3.1 GHz)
• Windows 8, 64-bit, English
• 13.3" FHD 1080p
• 8GB¹ DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
• 256GB Solid State Drive
• Intel HD 4000
• 2.99 lbs

I'm a bit leary of the Intel HD 4000. The rest seems pretty good to me, what do you think?

I don't need top notch performance, but I don't want to be falling alseep over my Pad Thai waiting for rendering for basic effects.
