Just to be clear I have been running PP5.5 since July with no issues or crashes no matter what video or rendering I do. I am running on MacPro Quad-Core 2.8Ghz with 16GB of RAM on OS X 10.6.8 with all the latest patches. No problem up to this morning. I ran PP5.5 last night finished an edit and closed it. Ran some LR and web browser for another two hours and went to bed. My machine stays on all the time so I sat down with a cup of coffee and I wanted to do one more edit before I upgrade to PP6.x and my PP5.5 keeps crashing upon launch. I logged out and logged in and still same issue. I rebooted my Mac and it still had the same issue.
Any pointers are appreciated.
