I'm trying to figure out how to see the in and out points (in timecode) of my offline timeline clip. Any ideas?
When the clips are online, I can just doubleclick the clip in the timeline and it appears in the source viewer with the in and out points marked. Easy.
But when the clips are offline, the offline clip doesn't appear in the source viewer, and I cannot find a way to see the in and out points.
Again, I want the timecode for the in and out points. I know (obviously) I can't see the video frame of the in and out points unless the media is online.
Big picture: what I'm trying to do is replace these timeline clips with clips from a different (identical) source clip -- but using the same in and out points. I'm doing this on my commute (on a bus -- don't worry I'm not driving) so I don't have access to the media drive.
I guess it would also work if I could just replace the original source clip somehow to another source clip in my project bins, in a way that maintains my in and out points (the clips are identical and are essentially duplicates).
I'm very new to Premiere, so apologies if the answer is obvious to silverbacks among us.... ;-)
