Best graphics card for $200-$300 range?

If my graphics card turned to be bad I will shopping for a new one.

Here's my current setup:

• Samsung 256GB SSD (windows and programs)
• 2 x Samsung SpinPoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB SATA2 7200rpm 32MB Hard Drive
• Sapphire 100314SR Radeon HD 6870 Graphics Card - PCI Express 2.0 - 1 GB GDDR5 SDRAM 2560 x 1600 - CrossFireX

I was Radeon fan for a long time since ATI days and would like to take advantage of Mercury Playback Engine soand as far as I know AMD is not supported.

Eventually I will need to go with Creative Cloud.

So far 2 cards have been recommended:

Gigabyte HD 7870 OC

or

GTX 660

Any other suggestions?
