I've asked this question before, and I keep checking FAC discussions, but have found no advice germane to my situation. Which is; once I've finished editing a a 2-cam project (HDV and AVCHD), have done all the color correction, audio equalization, etc, I need to clear my hard drive(s) for the incoming projects. But would like to save the edited work for future highlights project during a downtime. Easier to re-capture from tape than from dvd. I'm editing on Premier Pro CS5.5 and working on MAC 10.7. I have read the manual and know that one can't back up HD to tape on a mac...export to tape is greyed out. Just wondered if wiser heads than mine had a similar situation and solution.
