I have some MTS. files on my PC that are from a Sony HD camcorder. I am importing them into Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. However there is no sound although the original MTS. files have sound when played with VLC media player. The playback is also somewhat ''spotty''.
What should I be doing exactly? Should I be converting the MTS. files before importing them into Premiere Pro? And if so, to what format?
The MTS. video files are 1440 x 1080 (I think 60 frames per second). What preset should I use when starting my project in Premiere Pro, and finally how should I be outputting the video once editing is complete?
