This topic regarding sound issues with CS6 has been discussed before but couldn't find a definitive answer.
Brought some footage into CS6 via media browser can edit XDCAM EX footage fine but there is no sound.
We have tried de- activating the product and then re- activating but no joy (as mentioned by a Adobe rep). The footage plays fine with sound in Sonys Media Browser so there is sound there. Can send audio to Audition and it plays fine.
I've also tried AVI files, AVHCD- there is no sound with these too. Looks like no sound period in Premiere. I can play them fine outside Premiere and sound plays too.
Premiere is up to date with latest 6.XXX patch, using windows 7 64 bit with all latest patches.
Any help much appreciated.
