I'm currently working for a company whose complete workflow is on Mac and editing is done in Final Cut Pro
The source files for the editing are in the XDCam HD Codec. (screenshot attached)

I want to send the whole Cut sequence to my PC (Windows 7, 64Bit) for Effects and Color Correction (After Effects CS6 and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6).
The problem is that neither Premiere nor After Effects obviously are able to read the XDCam HD 422 Codec although you can choose the XDCam HD 422 Project preset
in Adoeb Premiere.
Furthermore theres a pdf out there advertising that Premiere is working perfectly with theses codecs.
Für die weitere Bearbeitung möchte ich gerne den gesamten Schnitt auf meinem PC (Windows 7, 64bit) weiterbearbeiten (After Effects CS6 bzw. Adobe Premiere Pro CS6).
Das Problem ist nur, das weder Premiere noch After Effects den XDCam HD 422 Codec zu verstehen scheint, obwohl man in Premiere z.B. die XDCam HD 422 Vorlage / Preset
einstellen kann.
Desweiteren habe ich auch ein PDF von Adobe gefunden in dem der nahtlose Umgang mit den Formaten angepriesen wird.
I know there are plugins like Calibrated XD that can decode it but isn´t Premiere or After Effects able to do it natively like they promise?
Maybe I missed something? Anyone got any experience?
Es gibt von Calibrated ein kostenpflichtiges Decoder Plugin, aber ich frage mich ob es nicht doch irgendwie nativ mit der Adobe Software geht.
Hat jemand in diesem Bereich Erfahrungen und kann mir weiterhelfen?
