Hi, I've been editing a project for a few days now, and I noticed playback started to stutter a bit today, so I rendered the entire work area so the "yellow bar" above the timeline turned green. And it started dropping frames from the begining of the project. I imported a few video files from my SD CARD STRAIGHT TO ADOBE PREMIERE and it plays back smoothly even with effects..but the line above the timeline is yellow (for the newly imported files from SD CARD). Can anyone please help me sort this out? Could this be a RAM issue?
The file I'm trying to edit is straight from my Canon 600D.
And laptop specs are:

EDIT: Music plays back smoothly in the background it's only the video that drop frames..I've got Mercury Playback Engine on btw.
