How can I organize sequences in project by date

This isn't as dumb as it looks: I know I can find which sequence is the most recent by using the Mac Finder window, but within the Premiere Project pane, even though I have added "Date Created" and "Date Modified" columns, they do not show the date of creation or last save for any of my sequences. Because I have yet to decide on a logical naming system--help!--for each iteration of a timeline/sequence, I'm constantly trying to figure out, from within Premiere, if "master final" or "final master" or "final locked master" or "final 24 Jan master" is the latest. I guess first order of business is to rename them, but is there a way to get the creation/modification dates to show?
