For a long time I have been operating under the assumption that I need to limit the size of the AVCHD video that I burn onto a DVD to 1 hour. I'm aware that I can possibly push up to 90 minutes on to a standard DVD. My question is, will I somehow be degrading the image I will be viewing on that 90 minute DVD? It seems foolish to me to spend all the time to put together a DVD if you are not going to get the highest quality image that you can, and if limiting it to 60 minutes will do that, I'm fine with that. But if 90 minutes will work too, unless it is totally boreing video and limiting it to 60 minutes will spare someone the pain of watching it longer, so much the better.
