I am trying to capture in CS5 video recorded on tape with a Canon Vixia 40 camcorder and I don't see this camera in the drop down list in settings/ device control/options. Using "standard" I get control of the camera but no frames are captured when the tape is advancing and the record button is active using "record", "tape" or in and out to initiate capture. The video is displayed as it advances on the camera but not on the monitor window. I usually record digitally with On Location, so I have not faced this issue before. Does anyone have advice?
