I am also having this issue with the 2019 update. We have a few edit suites at work. All trash can mac pros, not very old. 2 edit bays are working fine on the update and 2 are not working at all. Same empty source and program monitors, lots of lagging, crashing and unresponsive issues.

Workspace Bar Auto Resets to Default
Hi all,
I have a custom workspace bar of all my different workspaces at the top, and each time I open up premiere (old or new project) it resets all the workspaces in the workspace bar to the defaults. This means I have to edit workspaces each time I open up Premiere. Are there any solutions to this problem?

Audio randomly cutting out CC V13.0.2(2019)
I've read through many forum questions with the same problem.
Audio randomly dropping out during playback in your timeline.
I've been having the same issue and I've gone through all the solutions I've found with no luck.
-Deleting cashe files and rebooting
-Removing audio plug-ins(I have none)
-Converting original WAV files to MP3
So my question is: Could it be a PC spec issue?
I have a nice editing rig(specs below) but no dedicated audio card.
Or a bottleneck issue as I'm editing on an external HD through a USB 3.0 connections.
Premiere is playing back the 4K footage pretty well but I have this audio issue.
I'm wondering if it's worth it to upgrade to a nice USB C SS Drive or purchasing a dedicated soundcard so I don't have to worry about this issue.

Black screen in reference monitor and no screen in source
I've got a new laptop and I'm trying to edit a project from 2018 on it. I converted the project, but now it won't play any of my footage. At first I thought it was an issue with my laptop's specs, but when I opened a new timeline and pulled up some footage, it played fine. What's going on? I've tried switching to mercury playback engine only, but nothing's working.

premiere pro cc . colour corrected clips exporting with original clip names with corrected footage
we did a bad colour , exposure , video coverage , premiere pro cc 2019 on colour correction process it is good now , i don't know how to export the recorded clips with original clip names as recorded with my correction now , i tried exporting many times in project manager . it only exports the actual footage , on video preview folder it is exported to with colour correction on very different names as rendered files ....please help to export my video clips with same names as clips as i recorded ---advance thanks to experts

Project Manager not working-like at all
So I am the stage of picture lock with a feature documentary I've been working on. It's a large project with multiple years of footage, but the final edit is only around 45 minutes. I need to use the Project Manager feature in Premiere Pro CC to only save the clips and the one sequence. That way, I can get it to the colorist without TBs and TBs of needless footage not used in the final version.
Ok, so I have tried using project manager like 6 times, w/ all different settings, but I can't just seem to get it to work. It always fails when transcoding. I have tried also checking the option of Collect Files and Copy to New Location. This option actually completes successfully, but when I open the new project the sequence loads successfully and links up, BUT MANY OF THE CLIPS ARE LINKED TO WRONG SOURCE CLIPS so the timeline is worthless. It's a 45 minute film so I can't go back and re-link the scores of clips linked incorrectly.
Additionally, I get all kinds of error messages saying clips could not be copied b/c they are offline, but they AREN"T IN THE SEQUENCE I am exporting. Weird.

Way to have smoother editing when using Mogrts?
I've started to use some of the free mogrts available for basic items like nameplates and titles, but I find when I am trying to do basic editing in the timeline sequence, once the mogrts are in place, the video constantly freezes or skips, even I preview it at 1/4 quality.
Is there a better way to work with mogrts that would still allow me to edit the video without constant stoppages?
(PS pretty novice at Premiere, so apologies if this is a stupid question).

Anyone Else Getting No Audio Playback After Opening A Project?
For the past week or so, I've had a strange issue where sometimes when I open a project and try to play the timeline, there's no audio. It happens for every sequence in the project. It's not that the audio is playing and I'm just not hearing it, the audio levels don't even move. It's as if all audio has been muted. The only thing that brings it back is to solo one of the audio tracks and then unsolo it. After that everything starts working again.

Titles for Bible Verses
I currently use Premiere Pro to edit our church sermon videos each week. When the pastor reads a bible verse, I create a title of just that verse and drop it over the video so people watching the video can read along. Currently, I just manually copy and paste each verse from an internet site into each title. Does anyone know if there is an easier way for me to do this? I'd like to have a product that gives me a title for each verse in the bible, and then I could just reach in and pull what I need each week. Otherwise, I'd like to find a way to automate this task to make my own product.

LUT lost between Mac and Windows
I have a premiere file that was developed on a Mac. When I moved this file and all of its components to a windows machine, everything worked fine except for the video was just a white and red checkerboard in my program window. I discovered that the LUT effect that had been applied no longer worked. I basically had to go in and re-apply the LUT effect to every single clip and copy all of my lumitri settings over. This was not just a LUT from the drop down, but a LUT effect from the presets.
Is there a way to fix this easily? Seems like quite the oversight.

Proxy files are created but no actual video just sound...need help
recently started taking my editing a bit more seriously and discovered the proxy facility which i think is fantastic. However i have followed many tutorials on the internet, changed the settings god knows how many times but every time, it will create the proxy in the relevant folder but there would be no video.
Thought i was doing something wrong but ive tried it so many different ways im unsure where im going wrong. the only problem i see is when media encoder has rendered the file, i reset status. When i click custom the Ingest settings come up. Under Summary and Source it says "No video". I have no idea how to fix this? can someone please help me?
I have tried to export a sequence using media encoder and that works fine, its just for some reason not playing ball when it comes to proxies.
Currently using PP 2018 and AME 2018

Import error at some DJI Phantom 4 Pro files after update to Premiere 13
Hi folks,
I am working with files from much sources (GoPo, Canon EOS 80D, DJP Phantom 4 Pro Plus, etc.) a long time and never had problems to import one of them into Premiere Pro, no matter which resolution, framerate or other settings I use.
After updating from Premiere Pro 12 to 13 (good choise in my optinion because of some major bugs fixed) I am not able to import some P4P-files, most of them in 2,7K with 50fps MP4s. Alway an error occures, sometimes "Type of compression not supported", sometime "Generell error" (the messages are translated from german, maby the sound different in Premiere in english). Other files with the same settings have no problems.
I just can fix that via renaming the files from "xxx_xxx.MP4" to "xxx_mmm.M4V" or to delete the understroke, than everything goes right. But thats a big job because there are thoudands of them :-(
Will there be a fix via Adobe? Any hits for me?

Crash when parametric EQ is applied?

I have a concern, I use the parametric EQ a lot and one of the known bugs is
"Crash can occur with large project when scrubbing timeline with Parametric EQ filter."
Has anyone experienced this or should I stay on 2017 version?

Sound not playing on some clips Adobe Premiere Pro
There are just a few clips all next to each other where the sound stopped playing. No activity is showing up on the mixer for that clip. I check all the obvious things like mute, solo, the volume level under effects, etc., but nothing. I deleted the media cache files folder so it could all rebuild and nothing.
If I move the audio to a different audio track it will play, but it doesn't when I move it back to its original track. So there's at least that fix, but I'd like to know what the original problem is vs. having to use this workaround.

audio change using "g" shortcut very, very slow
I 've noticed an dramatic slowdown when i try to change audio levels using the "G'" key. A 14 minute interview clip took over 3 minutes before the "OK" button was illuminated and it is consistently slow for other lengths of clips, which i've never seen before. I haven't installed the most recent update since I'm just finishing up another project started in this version.
Anyone have any ideas what's up?

Partial or fast re-render after making a mistake?
I tried searching for an answer, but I might not be using the right terms, and wasn't able to find anything.
I sometimes make a mistake that only is realized after the final render (missing clip, offline media, other issues) that requires me to re-render the entire project to rectify 3 seconds of footage. Is there a faster way?

Lower Thirds (Astins) export issue
Howdy big brain!
I have an issue exporting astins for a 2K feature doc that we are currently finishing at Technicolor.
The project sequence settings are 2K 1998 x 1080 and square pixels (1.0) in 25fps.
The astins look great when in Premiere but when exported they have a stepping issue on the pixels. The font is Avenir and they aren't particularly small, but they would be unusable on the big screen. I've never had this issue when part of a sequence, I can only assume its to do with Alpha?
I've exported in 4444 with Alpha and also Animation with Alpha, optical flow, its pre-rendered before export too.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
