Premiere Pro (CS6) - Windows 7- [..\...Src\Win\Winfile.cpp-814] error

Hi,

I'm currently working on an animated music video to upload on YouTube fairly soon and while trying to export my video I get an error popup saying [..\...Src\Win\Winfile.cpp-814].

FUCK UP 1.png

FUCK UP 2.png

I've had no problem exporting before and now this thing comes out of nowhere to ruin my day and my project haha.

I've resterted the project and the popup still appears. I even went to the extent of going back to Premiere Pro CS 5.5 but I receive  a popup saying  [..\...Src\Win\Winfile.cpp-785]

FUCK UP 3.png

...with another saying "Thank you for using "Adobe Device Control". The Adobe product that installed "Adobe Device Central" has not been activated. Please launch and activate that Adobe product before continuing to use "Adobe Device Central" after it exports.

FUCK UP 4.png

And,  when the project  does export, it exports with just the video with NO audio .

I have never had this issue before, it just randomly happened. I've use Premiere Pro going on 5 years now and have never had an issue until now. Someone or some hero please help me slay this dragon so I may post my awesome music video on YouTube. Thanks

I have Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and it won't import XDCAM EX files. It sees them, but when importing gives the error messege that it has no audio or video streams. I did install the plug-in from Apple (which is what allowed it to see them in the first place) but when importing it won't go. I have a MACBOOK PRO runnning Mavricks.

7.2.1 Audio Export Issue

There seems to be a new audio issue with the 7.2.1 update, which was released to fix another audio issue introduced with the 7.2 update.  The previous problem is discussed in another thread.

http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1357792?tstart=60

The 7.2.1 update did seem to correct the very loud buzz during transitions, but now a new, unwanted sound has been occurring for some users.  It's a machine-like sound that only occurs during the transition, and only after export.  The problem does not seem to occur at all inside of PP.

For me it was incredibly difficult to reproduce this problem.  I originally found the issue by accident.  Trying to make it occur at will took about two hours of experimentation.  I could only reproduce the error using very specific media in a very specific way.  To wit, a 60p clip following a 24p clip in a specific 24p sequence.  Almost anything I changed would not reproduce the error.

One thing I did notice is that only export through AME produced the error.  Direct Export was clean every time.

Increment and save in Premiere Pro

Hi

I am still climbing the Premiere Pro learning curve, and it suddenly strikes me that I miss the "Increment and save" option from After Effects immensely.

Am I missing something? I am aware that "Auto-save" is an option, but I am the type that really likes to retain full control over my project history and my saves.

Is this possible to do at all?

Could somehting like that be scripted?

Has it possibly already been submitted as a feature request?

To the best of my knowledge "Increment and save" is an option in many if not most of the advanced programs used by my friends for 3d and programming, am I missing some obvious reason why it does not fit into an NLE workflow?

How to get scource timecode from AVCHD into CS6?

$

The scource material I record with my Sony FS-100 camera records timecode and displays it when played back in the camera. Importing the media into CS6 (and CS5) all clips start at 00:00:00:00 no matter how I select the timecode display.

Importing directly from the SD card as .MTS files or with the Sony software as .M2TS doesn't make a difference.

I have to edit a project shot with two camera's and separate audio, all with a synced identical timecode.

How can I get Premiere to recognize the scource timecode of the clips?

How do I activate the software with an invalid number from adobe?

Adobe gives me the invalid number to validate the software after I enter the serial number that it does accept. What am I to do?

Premiere Pro CC stl caption export

Hello

I've studying this page : http://helpx.adobe.com/fr/premiere-pro/using/closed-captioning.html#Fl ux%20de%20sous-titrage%20à%20l’aide%20d’applications%20tierces

In the video it said that I can export the video with the stl caption layer embeded through Media Encoder using the Quicktime format… until then it works fine… except that I cannot open the subtitle layer within Quicktime player, I've tried QT X and QT 7, but none of them will work. I've also tried various codecs within the Quicktime format, but nothing changes : the subtitlies won't appear.

Did someone managed to export embeded stl caption ? Does it work only with .scc ?

Thanks for your help

Accessing video files between 2 computers

Hi all,

I always seem to start my threads with 'Apologies but........' and this time is no different!

Okay, so here goes! I have a laptop and desk computer both loaded with Premiere Pro. Is there anyway I can access my video files from either computer using the cloud? I've just opened up the software on the desk based PC and can't see any of the video projects I've been working on using my laptop.

Any help gratefully appreciated!

No audio with mpeg4 codec

I am recording video game play from my computer with avi2 video codec and mpeg4 audio codec. The clips play back fine in both vlc player and windows media player, but when I try to play back in premiere pro cc, there is no audio track, at all, no wave forms are present.

When I play online, I use Skype to voice chat, also no wave forms in the raw video. I let the clips conform first but they still have no audio.

Premier Pro Workflow question

Hi,

I am wondering, from an industry standard point of view, what the reccomended workflow would be for the following situation (I know that each project brings its own special requirements, but I was hoping that some of you on the forum have worked with this type of project before, and can give some advice)

We are producing several, roughly 20 minute episodes of a childrens show. The episode has several scenes, and each scene is comprised of several shots. Our characters are hand operated miniature figures, and they are filmed against either a blue/green screen, or in miniature scale sets. The footage is first brought into Premier, where rough keying and compositing is done, to achieve each rough shot. These are then edited into their respective scenes. Once the rough editing is done, the project is handed over to Afer Effects, where the footage is replaced with the originals (As low res proxies are used in the edits), proper keying and compositing is done, and effects are added. This is then rendered as a DI, imported back into Premier as a video layer and then rendered out in the final delivery codec.

My question is as follows:

Is it better to create one project, with multiple sequences, one for each scene and then a sequence for the episode (Master sequence) - or is it more advisable to create several seperate premier projects, one per scene and then import these into a new master Episode project? I guess it might be a matter of "What you prefer", but I was wondering if there is a suggested industry standard as to how this is normally approached.

Thank you for any advice,

Pierre Devereux

How can I control the PP (monitor) volume using my computer volume controls.

I'm no longer able to control the PP (monitor) volume using my computer volume controls. I've always controlled the monitor volume using my computer volume levels, but starting today, that has changed.

The volume is just playing at the level recorded with no way for me to turn down or up.

I performed a disc repair and that didn't solve the problem.

I am going through a 55 min interview and cutting out all the ums and errs on the timeline, some of the picture jumps I will be able to repair with cut aways and gvs but for some I will have to revert to the origional and put back the umms. What is the easiest way to remove the edit? I have 4 tracks of sync cameras, a guide audio and a 5.1 audio track all of which will have to move.

Media Encoder crashes on launch. It's a brand new install on a MacPro 3.1 with a brand new MacOs10.8

It runs through the list of plugins and resources that it loads with the Logo Screen but halts and crashes on loading CoreAudio...

Please help?

In desperation I deleted it with the hope to re-install, but can't seem to find an option for the install through Cloud...

Thanks!

Update 7.2 and Canon MXF

After updating to 7.2, it turns out that the project folder in PR only displays the first mxf file in each folder.
If there are multiple mxf files in the source folder, it displays only the first.

VLC shows the files as they are recorded.

What do I do now??

When importing MPEG files into Premiere Pro CS3 the audio sequence is missing.

We have two computers running Premiere Pro CS3.  Our computer most recently installed with PPCS3 will only import an audio sequence with the MPEG video file when I extract the file directly from the DVD.  When I take the video folder from the DVD and drag to my Desktop, importing to PP from the desktop, it will only import the video sequence; audio does not appear.  What would cause this happen and how can I fix this?  It's too time consuming to continuously use my DVD Extractor.

720x512 video playout?

$

The television station I work at receives lots of commercials with a resolution of 720x512. When I run these through a sequence that is 720x486 obviuosly the captions are not on line 21 for our caption encoders to see. If I make a sequence that is 720x512 I do not see the output. It is like the video card (Kona LHI) does not know what to do with it. I am able to pass captions from .mov clips that are 720x486. I've played around with scaling and adjusting heights in the motion effects but have not seen any combination that works.  I am using Premiere pro CS5.5. I have also been playing with Premiere Pro CC 7.0 with a trial but that has not made a difference either. Does anyone have any suggestions?
