Hi Folks,
I have an odd issue.
Playback is not working on my machine with Premier Pro CS 6.02 (same issue on 6.0, but updated to see if that would fix it).
This includes playback of source videos (not yet on the timeline), and video on the timeline itself.
I have tried a wide range of video files: MTS (AVCHD) files, .FLV, .AVI, .DIVx, MOV.
Once I hit PLAY, the video time slider does not move forward. I can scroll through the video (with two-fingers on Mac trackpad) or by dragging the slider, and it all looks good in terms of the video is rendering (although no sound).
I have used 5.5 on this computer without problems, although not since I upgraded the whole thing from OS X 10.6 to 10.8 (at which point I did not reinstall CS5.5.
I am at a loss as to where to go from here. I've searched online and on the forums. I see some people having issues with audio, but this is more than that. I see other people having issues with certain codecs missing. But as far as I can tell I have all the default/standard codecs and sequence presets.
I have tried uninstalling (and automatically plus manually removing all premiere files, prefs, plist files, etc.) and reinstalling.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe
