Adobe Premiere Audio Issue

$

Hello,

I am using Adobe Premiere CC 2015. My audio plays fine while using headphones but when you switch to using the system speakers it does not work. However, YouTube Videos, MP3's and other system audio work just fine, the issues seems to be only with my exported video clips, where the audio is choppy and low if audible at all.

I have also attempted to use CC 2014 and CS6 and exporting but have had the same results.

This same issue occurs on other people's computers and in conference rooms in my office so it cannot be a simple hardware issue with only my system.

Any advice for what to change on my export settings would be helpful.

Premiere 2015 hangs 2-3 minutes when pasting/importing.

Whenever I copy/paste a clip in a timeline, the paste function hangs the program for 2-3 minutes. Windows actually says it's "not responding" but eventually the clip pastes. Once the first one pastes then I can copy/paste additional clips with no problem. This only happens the first time I do it when I open the program, and it has nothing to do with the number of clips I'm pasting (could be one, could be 500).  The same thing happens with importing clips. The first one takes 2-3 minutes, then the rest are fast.

I can't remember if this was causing me problems in CC 2014 but it's a big thing in 2015. Anyone else experiencing this?

Can't drag clips around in Timeline!! Help!!

Hey everyone, I've been on premiere for about 7 months now, fluent in Avid and FCP. For some reason, starting today, I can't seem to drag clips around in a project like I could before (and can easily do in every other program). I can't even drag a clip from the Source monitor straight onto the timeline. I can insert and overwrite, I can select the clip once it is on the timeline, but I can't drag and move it. Anyone else having this issue??

Audio Vanishing From Video...

Hello,

I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for about 3-4 months, that said I'm still a huge noob when it comes to  using this program, but no forum posts/internet help articles have seemed to fix this weird issue I'm having. I have been importing game-play footage just fine for that last 3-4 months no issues exporting and uploading just fine with no issues but starting....about 2 weeks ago audio has just been vanishing from the video clips as soon as I drop them into the timeline. I can play the video clip from the media tray thing and it plays just fine. I've tried deleting it, re-importing it, re-conforming it, you name I can't seem to get the audio to transfer over into the timeline. I have noticed in the past when my audio and video imported just fine the waveform and film icon on the bottom corner of the clip where blue, this time they are grey(See picture). I'm sure it's just something silly I have looked over, but I would appreciate some assistance(picture included below for reference)

I am so over this program, I really like it, but this has got to stop. My file specs: 1920x1080, 25fps.

Im editing on an Asus laptop running Windows 10 with 11.9 usuable RAM.

I import the files, render them, and the play back's so choppy that I can't edit. I tried adjusting the full, 1/2, 1/4...nope, no luck. I tried a different file type, no luck, I tried a smaller file... Still no luck. I've also tried pre-rendering and playing with the sequence settings. The files all play fine in the left window, but not in the right. Please help!

Color correction not showing up on exports in PP and Media Encoder

The levels I set inside Premiere Pro do not carry over to the export, regardless of which application I use. Has anyone else encountered this?

I'm on the latest version of Creative Cloud, all software current versions.

Here's what it looks like inside PP.

Premiere 1.jpg

Here's what it looks like on the export:

Screen Shot 2016-05-17 at 4.41.29 PM.png

Notice the difference in the saturation levels? I can go overboard and saturate the hell out of it in PP to get it to look correct on the export, but why should I have to? Is this a bug or does someone in the Adobe Community have a work around?

Thanks!

Video Grainy importing into adobe premiere pro

I'm pretty new to adobe premiere pro and I'm finding an issue where the .mts clips i'm uploading into premiere are becoming extremely grainy when they don't look like that normally.  I've been shooting with a canon xa10.  I'm fairly new to video in general but I downloaded a trial software to convert .mts files into .mov files to see if that could be why the video files were grainy and when i imported my videos into premiere they weren't grainy anymore.  I don't want to have to buy that software though, is there anything i'm missing or any other alternatives to why this may be happening?

Several crashes since installing latest update of Premiere Pro CC 2015.2 (9.2)

  • Multiple crashes since installing latest update of Premiere Pro CC 2015.2 (9.2.0 (41) build).
  • Running OS X 10.10.5 on a 2.6Ghx MBP with 16GB of RAM.
  • Crashing occurs when sliding clips on the timeline or changing their tracks up or down.
    • Locks with beachball...
    • Then the whole thing crashes and restarts.
  • AE and PS seem stable.
  • Also very slow.  Constant pauses (beachball) when opening clips or adding effects.
  • Renders also seem to take a long time compared to previous version.

Thanks,

gf

Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve Roundtrip Not Linking

$

Hey All,

So, I was able to get a pro colorist to fine tune color in DaVinci.  He created a new folder with rendered clips and exported an XML.  When I try to re-link in PP, it asks to locate and after everything has been located... nothing.  There's no timeline, it just does nothing.  It loads as if it's going to do something but doesn't and I can't find a file of it either.  The media is all there, it just won't link.  Thoughts?  I really don't want to go in and manually link these, as there are tons of cuts.  It's also very possible that I'm doing something wrong or not looking in the right place.  Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Audio Buzz with Crossfade Transitions in Latest Premiere Pro 9.1.0 update

$

Recently updated to Premiere Pro 9.1.0 and loaded an ongoing project, only to discover an audio buzz when editing audio transitions. Constant Gain, Constant Power, and Exponential Fade all produce a buzz when playing over the transitions. Exporting media creates an even more annoying buzz/pop/glitch at the transition points. So far the only way around this problem is A-B'ing the transition and key framing the volume sliders; a total 'buzz' kill on my workflow. Anyone else have this problem? Working on a 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac with 32GB of memory. Thanks.

Exporting Help Needed!

Hi guys.

I have encountered a problem with a video I am trying to export as an .mp4 file with H.264 format. I've noticed that during my title sequence the white background is no longer white, instead it's grey! However in Premiere it is completely white. Does anyone have a solution? If you need more details about anything let me know.

Thank you

Timecode font in TrimView is frustratingly large

I am using Trim View (for the chapter of Adobe's premeire book and I'm getting way too big of a time code font.  I can't even see the last digit.   No tool tip seems to show it either.   In the pictures in the book, the font seems much more reasonably sized.   I don't see this kind of oversized text anywhere else so I don't think it's using some kind of global setting.   Anyone know how to adjust this.

Hello:

OSX 10.9.5

2.6 GHz Intel Core i7

16GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Retina MBP

NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB

CUDA Driver Version: 7.5.26*

ISSUE:My preferences are inaccessible in Premiere Pro CC2015 - latest build.

I have deleted them (traditionally, Digital Rebillionish, & opt+shift on launch method.) I have uninstalled & re-installed Premiere Pro CC2015. I continue to get the Error:

Screen Shot 2016-05-17 at 10.33.40 PM.png

I am unable to make any adjustments in the Preferences Panel - clicking the "Ok" button does nothing.

BACKGROUND: Yesterday I received this error when trying to update the Creative Cloud Desktop App:

Screen Shot 2016-05-16 at 3.51.18 AM.png

I connected with Adobe CHAT - they remoted on to my machine, deleted various files & got the Desktop App updated. I then ran all current CC updates.

*SUSPECTED CAUSE OF PROBLEM: I also updated my CUDA driver to 7.5.26 after the Desktop App & all current CC updates were installed.

I got several .kext warnings after doing this:

Screen Shot 2016-05-16 at 4.07.27 AM.png

ADD'l TROUBLE SHOOTING ACTIONS:

  • I rolled the nVidia driver back two versions - but still had error.
  • I removed the offending .kext files - but still had error. (Note: NVidia drive is now back to 7.5.26)
  • I stepped through User settings to confirm I had Admin access
  • I created a Root User & tried launching Premiere in that - but still had error

Preference issues seem 101 - I've never - not been able to locate the offending file to enable Read/Write to solved this type of problem.

If this is a Cuda - nVidia conflict. I am not sure how to resolve it.

Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Damaged Project File / Filename Automatically Changed

Hi there, any help with this would be much appreciated...

My drive accidentally ejected while my project was closing down. I re-opened the drive and my prproj filename changed from Wildwood Ovens Sizzle.prproj to:

Wildwood Ovens Sizzle~56c7dbef-98a3-40b0-b1c2-2107da78b508.prproj

The file is damaged and I have no autosave backups. I tried moving the media to another file and importing the project file through a new project file... all of the basic troubleshooting. While my damaged prproj file is 452kb, there must be something there... Wouldn't read in Xmplify software too. I tried duplicating the file as well to no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Ryan

Hell issue = Playback terrible lag + Color Grading problem

Hi all,

I am a new user of Premiere Pro.

I have no idea since when I playback the clips in PR, all the adjusted color start to fade/blink/run away...

(Renderer : Mercury playback engine GPU acceleration OPEN CL)

So i got an advise to change the renderer to Mercury playback engine software only, and after that, the color issue is solved but, the lagging of playback is super terrible...

Is it RAM problem ? I am using Premiere Pro CC 2015 and Macbook pro (8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3/ 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5) ...

Please advise. Thank you very much.

Premiere Pro CC Support for Sony's XAVC S (not XAVC)

I've seen this asked in various places however nobody from Adobe has addressed the issue so the result is a bunch of speculation from other users.  Could someone from Adobe PLEASE tell us if there are plans to support Sony's XACV S codec in Premiere Pro CC and if so when we can expect to see this support added.  Sony's had a couple of really great 4k camera's available for some time now however if there's not going to be support for the codec there's really no point to buying one.  I really want to start adjusting my workflow to support 4K but I can't really begin to do that without knowing if or when Adobe will support XAVC S.  An answer from someone at Adobe would be greatly appreciated or if other users have an info I'll take whatever I can get.  Thanks!
