I have a strange behavior of the shortcut panel in PP CC. On one of my machines the panel will not open and on the other one (my main workstation) it opens but all the headings are missing. I've made a screenshot of it
I have no idea why this is. Can anyone help? I'm on Windows 7 64bit Quadro 4000

although hardware acceleration was supposed to be better in Premiere CC, it stopped working completly for me. The option to hardware accelerate is grayed out

It worked pretty ok in CS 6 (apart from system freezes when using CUDA…) . Kind of a let down. Please help.

I downloaded the trial and am having a hard time with new Sequences:
1. There does not seem to be a new sequence settings option when you create a new project. Is this correct?
2. When a new project opens I do not have the option to drag a file from the project into the Sequence/Timeline and I can not create a new Sequence. How is this handled?

I have successfully recorded voice overs. But, on this occasion it will not do record an audio voice over. Nothing shows on the timeline. I am trying to record to Audio 2. Audio one consists of a couple of Audio clips I want to keep but the rest has been deleted as I don't want it. This may be incidental but there is a faint blue ribbon on part of some of the timelines (the full height of the timeline). I don't know what this is but it makes no difference even if I make it disappear.

I am trying to create Closed Caption from the scratch in Premiere Pro CS6. I watched couple of videos of internet.
But I dont see "Caption" menu and when I create a "New Item", it doesn't show me "caption" option to create new caption.
Where I can find Caption Menu to create new closed caption in Premiere Pro Cs6 ?

The pop up box that appears when a clip placed on the timeline doesn't match the sequence settings no longer appears on my computer due to personal error. Now I am trying to use the warp stabilizer and can't because I am getting a red line across my footage saying that warp stabilizer requires clip dimentions to match sequence. I believe that my problem could be solved if I could just get that pop up window to appear again.
Notes:
1) I have held the option key while starting Premiere Pro.
2) I am also using a mac and when I put a sd card into the drive the folder containing the videos is a quicktime folder labeled private. I have to hold option and click show package contents until I get to the raw MTS files which I import.
I can't believe there is not more demand for this. My web dev is asking me for over 300 video clips in both .web and .ogg - - AME does not do this.
Do you guys have this problem? Any sucess with a 3rd party plug-in of some sort. I can use Firefogg (from Firefox) but it's slow using over the web as opposed to exporting from Premiere.
I'm a heavy user of the "Use Previews Files" option when exporting files. This has worked great with Premiere CS5.5 but using the same method in CS6 no longer works and reverts back to rerendering the original files in the timeline and rerendering all the effects on them which is very time consuming since the original files are HD and are being downscaled in a DV widescreen timeline.
Anyone figure out how to get Premiere CS6 to correctly find the preview files when exporting using the "Use Preview Files" option?
In the meantime, I had to load all the preview files I had rendered back into a new timeline and reassemble them in the correct order. Once I did that, I exported this 1 hour 38 minute timeline to an MPEG-2 file which only took 19 minutes instead of the 7 hours it would have taken even with the "Use Preview Files" on and with a fully rendered timeline.
Again, it works great in CS5.5 so something changed in CS6 to make the "Use Preview Files" useless now.

Hello, all. I have been working with Premiere for almost a decade now, so I'm very familiar with the workflow...but ever since upgrading to CS6 I've had a few peculiar issues. Granted, the upgrade in version was not the only changes, so I'm going to try to pin down exactly what's going on.
The Setup:
Intel Core2Quad 2.6 GHz
4 GB RAM
Windows 8
250 GB Hardrive
1 TB External drive connected via USB 2.0 holding all footage and audio
I am in a "mode" of recording on-screen footage of videogames for deployment to Youtube and other similar mediums. I use screen-capture software Bandicam to capture the games in 720p and edit them using Premiere Pro CS6. All the footage, at the point of capture, is written to the external hard drive.
If I open Premiere right after filming, drag in the clips, edit them, export them - there is no issue at all. Everything works perfectly.
However, if I do some editing, then close the program and/or shut down the PC...when I bring back up the project, everything goes haywire. I get a mixture between "Media Pending" on all my clips, or simply black preview footage. I would let it sit for long periods of time, thinking it would sort itself out in a few minutes...but it seems to be hit or miss. In the past, after wrestling with it, eventually it cooperates. On this latest edit, however, all my renders come up completely black. Audio is intact, titles added in Premiere are intact, even one 3-second clip is working, but the entire rest of the video is black.
So I did my usual routine (after being annoyed at wasting a 1.5 hour render) and let all the clips sort themselves out (took an undue amount of time) so I could scrub through the editing timeline and everything seemed fine. Render again. Same exact result, completely black.
What's the deal with this Media Pending thing? No matter what I do, nothing seems to resolve it. Again, editing it right after recording works perfectly fine with 0 problems, but I can't always (obviously) edit it immediately. Anybody else having these issues or know how to resolve it? Thank you.
I know you can switch, in the Source Viewer, from Composite Video to Audio Waveform - but is there any way to view BOTH at the same time, similar to how FCPX works? Basically I want to be able to scrub the Audio Waveform timeline, but be able to watch the Composite Video at the same time. Any ideas? Thanks.

Due to the well-documented and discussed AVCHD bug present in CS6 and now in CC, I tend to transcode all of my AVCHD footage for editing. If it's a multicam project, I like to use lower-res proxies so playback stays smooth.
The problem I'm running into is that whenever I go to relink my media to the original files for export, Premiere's new Link Media dialogue doesn't allow me to search for file names without including the extension. So instead of being able to look for "Clip_01" regardless of the extension, it's looking for "Clip_01.avi". When the original file is called "Clip_01.MTS", this tends to be a problem.
I can manually go to the "Clip_01.MTS" file and make it link to that, but then the rest of my media just stays linked to the files they were linked to in the first place. This makes it impossible to relink multiple files with different extensions. I literally have to go through each and every clip and manually "Replace Footage" with the original MTS file. Which sucks.
So there you have it. Is there any way to get around this? I know I can transcode to both an intermediate and a proxy with the same extension, but then I would just be eating up harddrive space. Should this be a feature request? I thought Adobe had this whole relinking thing figured out.
I have my date created that derives from the .mov files - but i am unable to sort via the column heading even though i have it displayed - i can sort all the other columns from the premiere metadata but headings within the basic dont seem to be able to be sorted by, in CS6 it worked, is this a CC bug?

I have adobe premiere pro CC, and I have a question: Can I import movies from After Effects CS6 Irish premiere pro after CC and works these two products together yet?
I have Adobe Creative Cloud in german, but I'd like to switch the language setting for some programs from german to english, especialle Adobe Premiere. Most instructional material is in english and video editing is really an international matter. It is really cumbersome having to translate menus from german to english! How can I switch the language settings of my programs?
My elements 7 has just started crashing when i import videos to edit them, it hasent done this before i have tried unistalling and re installing but still having the problem.

I'm new to Adobe Premier Pro CS6.
I created two separate sequences with two different interviews.
I'd like to move them to one timeline to create one project.
When I do, the video is zoomed in. It appears the settings are the same.
So, someone suggeste "Scale to Frame Size."
When I do, it fits, but the video is now blurry and there is a black edge around it.
The two separate orignal timelines look just fine. It's only when they are copied & pasted on this
new timeline that this happens.
I've tried created a new bin and putting the original sequences in there. Same thing.
Only when those sequences appear they are green and you cannot see the edits, but the video
is still zoomed in.
I've looked at turorials, but cannot find this.
I would be thankful for any help.

Die Untertitel werden, wenn sie richtig angezeigt werden, mit mehreren Farben, mal am unteren Bildschirmrand, mal am oberen Bildschirmrand und auch mal schräg in der mitte angezeigt.
Gibt es für Premiere ein Plugin, womit ich die Untertitel importieren und unter die Videospur legen kann, sodass beim Rendern die Untertitel, so wie sie sein sollten, im Videomateriel gespeichert werden?
Es soll später eine BD mit Encore gebrannt werden, da diese Art von Untertitel aber nicht zum DVD/BD Standard gehört und später von keinem Player abspielbar wäre, möchte ich sie einbrennen.
So i seem to be getting a ton of motion blur in my video after rendering. The motion blur happens as soon as there is a slight bit of movement in my video and it looks like the camera is out or focus or something. It isn't present in my original files, it isn't present in the preview so i'm not sure whats going on here. I remember having this problem before but not sure what i did to fix it.
The only thing i can think of is that the FPS in my original video isn't consistent and i'm rendering to 30FPS but i need to get rid of this blur :/
My original files are AVI and i an using the H.264 format.

I have a problem with premiere inserting the last frame of one sequence onto the first frame of the next, like this:
|----sequence1----| – black space – |(!last frame from previous clip)----sequence2-----|
It's only 1 frame and on every other clip, so there's no real "system" or logic pattern to what is causing it. Its really annoying because i have alot of clips, and alot of work would go into cutting away every first frame on all of the affected sequences..
What am I doing wrong?
Media is the same format, so no fps mixing. I've been using premiere for a while, but never seen this before.
