Premiere Pro 2015.3 - Ultra Key BUG
Apply Ultra Key to a clip, open "Matte Cleanup," and move the slider for the "soften" value. Crashes Nvidia driver every time, kills video output, and requires a restart of Premiere. Tested on 4 computers, running Geforce 970s and 980s.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 scrambled previews
Hi all,
After updating to 2017, my previews are no good. I have not been able to find the cure, and hopefully someone can help.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
OSX 10.12.2
Any ideas?
This occurs with any new projects, or previously saved projects.

hard work with 4k clips
hello
i am working with 2 clips taken from iphone 7
they are 4k 30fps and long 2 minutes each
working with these 2 clips only is a nightmare
i have win 10
cpu i7 2700
62gb ram
ssd drive for system
gtx 760
pp 2017
is that bad my pc for 2 small 4k clips?
may be i can move the working folder where the clips are to the ssd drivwe?

EPS vecotor looks awful in Premiere CC. Why?
The same file worked and displayed well in Premiere CS6. I've opened the project with Premiere CC and the vector EPS appeared rasterized and low res. It displays this way on preview of the video and after exporting the movie. Why is this happening and how can it be fixed?

Premiere won't start
It has been working fine for several months but today when I tried to launch it an error message saying that it stopped working came up. No I haven't installed anything new no changes were made to my computer I uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere nothing is working. I have a final I need to finish in the next few hours so I need this to work right now

Importing different clips with same name, duration will be wrong
Hi All,
If I import clips shot on either Sony FS7 or FS5 and 2 (or more) have the same file name, the first one will come in correctly but the next one will have the duration of the first one eg. the first is 5 seconds, the second is 10 seconds, when they are imported, the first clip will be normal but only the first 5 seconds of the second clip will be imported.
I am about to import a huge amount of rushes and I know there will be a few instances of this issue hidden in there somewhere. I have only encountered it on 2 previous jobs but if I can get to the bottom of it before I start this edit it will save a huge amount of pain down the line!

Clip is Exporting at different In/Out segments than what is in my timeline
I have this one clip that no matter how many times I delete it and reimport it, when I cut it in the preview, then place it on the timeline, it will export out at totally different in/out points. Also when I double click the clip on the timeline to bring it up in the source preview window, it's cropped in and grainy. This happens with any clip I do this to, not just the one previously mentioned. I have the window set to Fit, and the resolution set to 100.
If I double click the clip from the Bin, it comes up perfect. It's only when clicking on the timeline that this happens.
Any ideas?

Not able to drag anything anywhere at all
Hello and thank you for reading my question
Here is the problem:
I'm doing a family project which I'm editing in premiere pro. Yesterday I was using premiere pro with no problems at all. Today I opened the same project and everything looks normal but when I tried to drag new clips to the timeline, nothing happens!. I thought that the clips were not in the correct format but that's not the problem. I tried to re-drag the transition clips that I was using before having this problem and I can't drag them anymore. It doesn't matter what I try to drag, I even created a small black video from premiere pro itself just to see if my files were bad but not even that is being able to drag.
Can anybody help me with this problem?
P.S. As I was typing this question, I also realize that the same symptom is happening in AE! I can't drag anything at all to the compositions. (I know that this last thing should be in another section, but just to let you know)

CC 2017: An unknown error occurred while opening the project.
A couple days ago I spent all day editing a project. It's about 10 minutes long and consists of all iPhone videos - various frame rates and resolutions. It came out great and I closed the project for the night. The next day I came back and tried to open the project and after the loading bar completes, I get the error: An unknown error has occurred while opening the project. Other projects open normally. New projects open normally. But this one does not. I am so upset and frustrated about the lost work.
I went to my recent auto saves and they give me the same error. If I go way back in the auto saves, they will open normally but that was before many hours of additional work on the edit.
I made a new project and tried to import the old project and I get the error: The importer reported a generic error.
I used Media Browser to view the project and the window where I should see everything is blank, even after the loading bar finishes.
I used Project Repair from Digital Rebellion's Pro Maintenance Tools which thinks it has repaired the project, but I get the same error when trying to open it.
I used CS Repair from Digital Rebellion's Pro Maintenance Tools to trash Premiere preferences. No help either.
I googled the error message endlessly and although the same question has been asked, none of them got an answer.
Please advise.

Hey, Adobe, what happened to the "sliding boxes" transition? If you removed it from the CC series, what are your suggestions to create the effect now?

Cannot Import Image Sequence
I'm using Premiere Pro 2017
I can select the first Image of a sequence of 720 JPEG's and select Image Sequence.
Then, when a hold shift and select the last image the image sequence check box clears itself and Premiere Pro will only import the images separately.I cannot recheck the image sequence box at all.It's even greyed out as an option.
These images were captured with Google Earth Pro.

How do you apply a transition to multiple clips? NOT using default transition.
Using CS6
I have videos on one track and titles on another track. I want to apply dissolve to black for the videos and gradient wipe to the titles.
Right now I have to assign dip as the default transition, select all the video, and apply default transition. Then find the gradient wipe, change *that* to the new default transition, select all the titles, and apply default transitions. Then I have to go back and reset my default transition to gradient wipe since that's my "main" default transition.
Uhhhh... why can't we just select a bunch of clips and drag ANY transition to the selection and have it apply just like regular effects? Why force us to do this complicated singular default transition dance?

Getting Media Into Premiere From Avid
Hi all,
I am trying to find the best workflow for getting media files into Premiere CC 2015 from our Avid stations.
The preferred file format for our Premiere stations is MXF OP1A XDCAM 50 60i, but we do use other formats when necessary. In Avid most of our files are DNXHD 145 MXF.
The premiere stations are all PCs and we have PCs and Macs in the Avid MAM room.
Currently, we are exporting Quicktimes and just importing those into Premiere. Is this the best way to do this? Are there alternatives to sending media across systems? I'm not as familiar with Avid, but is it possible to use an AAF file to send individual pieces of media to premiere?

Importing an XML from Final Cut Pro 7
Hey everybody, I'm trying to import an XML from Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 into Premiere Pro 2017.
I'm getting an error. I forget what it says exactly, something about media being outdated.
I've been back and forth with support. We've tried using an earlier version of Premiere, and importing into Davinci Resolve,
with no luck. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.
