I recorded a long interview with the Rode Videomic Pro. The GH4 cut it into 4GB clips, which is an internal feature, so fine. VLC plays each MOV file with perfect audio to the end of each clip.
But when I import into Premiere, Premiere cuts off the last 30 milliseconds or so of each clip's audio:
Video is perfectly smooth when clipped together, no jumping. I'm running CC 2017 on Windows 10.
Help please?
EDIT: I've made it clearer what the issue is:
I've been trying to upload my entry for Make The Cut since last night. I first tried it with my video's size at 190 MB. Left it to upload overnight, and when I woke up this morning, nothing's happened. I then compressed my video, making it only 99 MB instead of 190 MB. I tried uploading it, and it still won't do anything. I brought the size down to 50MB, and still, it doesn't upload. I'm stuck in the upload page just waiting for nothing. What could be the problem here?

Editing on CC 2017.0.2 with Mac Pro
I am having an issue where a block of text or a jpeg will glitch after I render and/or export. The glitch will usually be one of two things or even a combo of both. The text block will jump to the top corner of the frame and sometimes it just stays there or sometimes it will flicker back and forth between the top corner and the middle where it was.
This does not happen every time and I can not figure out any consistent issues with the times that it does happen. EXCEPT, and I haven't totally tested it, but I do think that it happens when the text/jpg is scaled down.
So a long time ago in a galaxy not so far away I bought the cs6 student master collection in anticipation of building my own workstation and making videos for a youtube channel. Now I finally have the money to build a nice rig to game and video edit with and was wondering if my new build will work with the old software.

We have two Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.3 Workstations. Everytime i work with one of those Workstations, all Clips are going offline after i do a little break.
It does not matter whether the material is located locally on the PC or on a network drive. The only thing that helps is a Premiere re-start.

So I have been having a lot of system issues caused by adobe suites. Firstly the footage would not load on the project screen nor on the source screen and would remain as an empty white screen. I've tried to close programs and restart system, it wouldn't help. I've tried to install an older version of Premiere pro CS5 and since then, both versions of premiere pro along with after effects don't seem to be working. This has also started crashing the entire laptop. Any thoughts why?
I use MSI windows if that helps at all. It will be great if I could find a solution to this as I haven't been able to get any work done due to this issue at all.

Wenn ich eine AVI Datei in Premiere importieren will, funktioniert dies ohne weiteres und der Ton wird auch normal mit geladen. Wenn ich jedoch dann das Video in der Vorschau abspiele bzw. am Ende rendere bekommt es teilweise verpixelte Stellen, die auch dem Videofluss nicht folgen. D.h. der Ton geht weiter und manche Bereiche des Videoausschnitts bewegen sich weiter und manche nicht.

I'm getting freezes both reproducible and random when editing on an iMac 5K, 5-10 times a day. It's really affecting my work. Anyone else find this build extremely unstable?
So, I did a shoot that I'm now working on in Premier Pro CC. I shot in 4k with a DJI Inspire one with the X3 camera, and transcoded it down to a 720p proxy. Oddly, the footage is still really choppy when trying to play the footage and scrub through. I even have it set at 1/4 resolution inside Premier Pro. Also, I do have the proxy button enabled. Last week I was editing a video I shot in 1080p with the same drone and it would playback just fine, nice and smooth with no issues. Anyone know why it would run worse with a 720p proxy? It's so weird and super frustrating. I know my Macbook isn't the most powerful but if I can run 1080p with no problem I shouldn't have any issues with a 720p proxy. I have about 25 minutes of footage I need to scrub through and bring it down to about 5 minutes but it's taking forever. It's almost as if I'm still working directly with the 4k footage and not the proxy, but I don't know what I missed...

I'm trying to subtitle a video with open captions. When I click on the caption track the captions panel pops open, but the caption itself is not there and so I can't edit the text, font, styling, add further captions etc. I've managed to get it to work for one project, but for the one I'm on now I simply can't get the caption open to edit it. The screenshot attached shows the screen after double clicking the caption in the timeline – nothing there to edit, though it shows in the preview. Is this a bug in the new version of CC or am I missing something?

I watched an online tutorial of how to make gif files using Premiere Pro CC. When selecting the output, an animated gif choice appeared in the output drop down menu of the Premiere Pro CC used in the tutorial. However, the output drop down menu of my Premiere Pro CC doesn't contain an animated gif selection. How do I get an animated gif selection to appear in the output drop down menu of my Premiere Pro CC? I'd like to create gifs with my Premiere Pro CC.
I recently bought a Samsung Gear 360 camera to play around with and shot some footage at a bowling birthday party with the camera perched on the ball return to see how it did.
All in all not bad but I do see that there is a slight shift where the stitching happens indicating that I might be able to rotate the two sphere halves on the screen to correct it and matching things up a lot better.
But on importing the raw, unstiched video, I do not have access to the VR menus to let me look at things in VR Mode. I've tried a stitched version as well and the menu stays greyed out.
Anyone had any experience with Gear 360 video in this app?

I'm currently using Premiere Pro CS6
I'm working on a makeup video where text clips pop up with the steps (ex: step 1: Apply foundation).
Now, the text "Step 1" appears before the "Apply foundation" text and even before that, I've got a pink frame submerging from the bottom of the screen which is my background for the texts. All these three elements play in synergy for the desired effect.
I'm doing everything manually, so you can understand that it takes some minutes to find the exact time when I want the frame to submerge and then the text to start appearing etc.
So, for the next steps I want to simply copy and paste the exact same elemens with their timing but I want to change the text (obviously, it's going to be "Step 2" and then whatever that step is ex. "Apply concealer").
However, if I copy them from the sequence and paste them in the sequence, when I change the "Step 1" text to "Step 2", it also changes the original text clip that has to be "Step 1". Now I'm left with two "Step 2"s.
I've searched on the internet and it said that I should duplicate the items from the bin and then drag the duplicated ones to the sequence. However this doesn't maintain the timing, the effects (fading, cross dissolve), so I might as well create a new one from the beginning.
Any solutions? Why is this so tricky to find? Uh!
I have a music video I've finished editing... the master of the song that is in my PP session is 24Bit 44.1.
Now, for export; I know that the audio will be compressed to AAC 320 - as well the sample rate will have to change from 44.1 to video standard 48000.
And so, my question is - what does Premiere do in both these instances? Especially the compression down to AAC for web upload; is there no dither option? Do people in this situ' find themselves using an external program to get the correct audio spec - and then use that at export?

Here is my situation:
I have 4 editing suits all equipped with Premiere cc2017. 3 suits run on the new MacPro and 1 suite on an older machine.
1, when I start a project in one set (macPro) I cannot open it in any other suite with the error " cannot open file..it may be damaged "
Starting a new project and importing this so called "damaged project' won't work either.
My only workaround for now is to open it on a MacBook Pro and save it again...then it suddenly is not damaged anymore....???????
I work on a daily show in 3 suites so this is quite frustrating...
2, I do most of my audio levelling myself so I know for sure my audio engineer is not gonna mess-up my timing...
I've got 16 motorised faders and very used to work like this (for 10 years in Final Cut Pro)...Now in Premiere....(long silence)...it works like, premiere sees my faders and tries to do what I want but it is FAR from workable....
when I try to move a fader (during play) it jumps back to where it was before...and yes...I've got my KEYFRAME RECORDING off so it should lever the entire clip.
I have to stop playout and then move my fader to where I want it to be.
During PLAYOUT and KEYFRAME RECORDING ON (the only way to make a good fade)....it creates a terrible mess with peaks up and down and....just a complete mess! Not workable....
Same thing without motorised faders and just using the faders on screen......WOW...It just Does Not Work!
Please.....FCP could do this the proper way 10 years ago....
3, In audio Clip Mode, I usually turn keyframe recording off so I can do levels of entire clips but minutes later premiere turns Keyframe recording ON for ALL Tracks.
Ik work with more than 18 tracks most of the time and I cannot find a keystroke to turn these all off....I have to click each channel....
4, Working with this many audio channels I mostly use the HAND tool for scrolling in my timeline...
But the handtool in Premiere can ONLY scroll LEFT and RIGHT???? not UP and DOWN????
5, If I have to cut a multi-camera show and I turn ON timecode in my canvas so I can see if all is in sync, in 50% of the time the timecode disappears from screen???
WHY???
6, Premiere does not allow for opening multiple projects...frustrating but okee...but IMPORTING a sequence from another project can take ages...
Why does it take up to 10 minutes to show me a list with the sequences from another project?
7, So I'm in a situation where I have to lay down some picture's over my video....
Not a very sofisticacated procedure...
When I place my picture in the timeline, scale and move it to the right position....It begins to jump to another place when I hit play....
I move it back to where it needs to be and during play it moves again...so I think 'render' but after render it completely goes nuts on me jumping between the two positions every frame....
You just cannot be serious....!
8, Try copying text in a title.....cc 2017 crashes every time....
Now I've read about this but could not find a answer, And no...the answer is NOT copy the title in my timeline....
I want to copy the TEXT from within the title editor...like I could before cc 2017
This basically sommes-up what I have to deal with...
and by the way....I really like premiere...but there's work to be done....

I'm getting really bad performance in Premiere trying to play 4k files from cameras such as Fs7 and the f5.
These exact same files, playing off the same drive are fine in my 2012 iMac.
both systems are running identical versions of Premiere CC. 2017.0.1
Originally MacBook had Premiere 2017.0.2 running an I installed previous version to see if that would help but it didn't.
Basically trying to play a single clip at what ever player res in premiere, just gives a choppy playback. Fans in MacBook go crazy. It will play maybe a 3-5sec, drop frames, stutter etc, then play a few more seconds.
MacBook Pro specs are about as high as they can go...

additional GPU
the reason I think premiere is the problem is because the same clips can happily play in VLC at full res and computer barely raises a heartbeat.
Any ideas?
(Premiere settings identical between iMac and MacBook Pro - open CL etc)

I'm in CC 17 for both After Effects and Premiere and am working in Windows 10.
I create a simple 1 line text template in AE, and export it as a text template into an .aecap.
I import the file into Premiere.
The text template allows me to change the text in the effects editor.
After making one instance of it, I duplicate the file and make a second.
Again I change the text of the second instance of the live text template.
Now when I playback, render, and export, all instances of the live text template flash randomly between the text.
Any advice? It'd defeat the purpose of the live text template if I need to create each individual instance in AE.
