I recently shot a video of our local Scout troop and during the rock climb there is an obscene word spray painted on to the rock. How do I remove the graffiti from the video background so I can send it to the parents?
Is it possible to apply the change to all images of the video? I use photoshop but am very new to Premiere.
So, I have three images and I am using linear wipe to split them into specific sections. I have the position and angles perfect for the images, but i also don't want them to be stagnant, so i want to put a ken burns effect to them, but then i realized using scale just enlarges the whole image including the angles i set with the linear wipe. I just want the image to grow bigger in the area that designated to it, but i cant figure out how to do that.
Is there a shortcut or button to turn off and on the external monitor instead of going to preferences? I could have swore it there was an easier way before the damn update.
I keep getting this error more than once. Anyone know what's causing it?

I'm having an impossible time locating what I thought was a very basic feature.
I have two cameras and one set of audio files, all containing synced SMPTE timecode.
How do I sync them all up?
Here's the audio, here's the video. Sync them for me using the timecode. Pretty straightforward right?
The "merge clips" function only lets me sync one video clip at a time to one audio clip. At this rate, it will take me hours to select each file individually. Is there seriously not a batch function?
Hey guys i shot some 60fps videos... for later preojects i want to slow them down and render them into 30fps videos.
This is how i tried it:
1. import file in PPCC 2015
2. right click on video --> Modify --> Interpret footage --> and set it to 30fps (video is 50% slower like i want it and its 30fps)
3. export --> choose 30fps in render settings (picture)
But now the video looks very jittery... as if frames are missing or so ...
I also tried frame blend but it still looks jittery
please help me ... and tell me your work flow and how you are doing this
Hi. I have installed Premiere Pro CC and I imported video files from my Nikon D4s and D810 cameras. During playback, the speed is too fast, and I cannot understand a word due to the speed. Why is this? Is the program mis-interpreting the fps rate? I have tried to alter the speed with shift+j or l, but the basic speed for the clips are just wrong. Anyone with tips for a frustrated new user of this program? It was not an issue with Premiere Elements or Finalcut.
Seit ein paar Tagen laggt die Vorschau von Adobe Premiere Pro bei mir und ich finde den Fehler nicht auch wenn ich die Auflösung der Vorschau runterstelle oder ander Einstellungen z.b Voreinstellungen ändere, besteht das Problem immer noch. Davor lief alles ganz normal und nach dem redern, läuft dass Video auch ganz normal. CPU geht nicht über 40 % und der Arbeitsspeicher ist bei ca 50 - 60 % wenn die Vorschauläuft und wie gesagt bis vor ca 1 oder 2 Wochen war alles ganz normal.
Pc ist Laptop Prozessor I7 6500
Graka GTX 950 M
RAM 8 GB
aber wie gesagt, dass hatte er schon immer und alles ging ohne Problme bis jetzt. Hat vllt wer eine Lösung ? Das einzigste was geändert wurde ist die Video Aufnahme die wurde früher in HD aufgenommen und jetzt in 4 K.

Before this update my Premiere and my project worked well !
Now, I have an error when i want to export my sequence.
This message comes directly after lauching the export.
I've tested different solutions (other formats, import my sequence into a new project, reinitialised my presets, render, doesn't work with Media Encoder ...)
I dont' see this problem anywhere... Maybe someone can help me ?

I have just install Adobe premiere pro cc 2017 from Adobe Creative Cloud successfully. But something unimagined event have had happening.
The software have remind me "Adobe premiere pro cc 2017.1 has stopped running." when I start to run the software in a few time.

I have been experiencing this problem for about three weeks now. I am editing on a MacBook Pro with 2.4 GHz i7, 16GB RAM, 250SSD, Thunderbolt to 3TB drive, and a thunderbolt-DVI adapter to Apple Cinema Display. I am editing 4K RED EPIC footage and my computer is wigging out on me.
I have been editing high quality footage on this machine with these drives and settings for a while. I originally thought this was a CUDA issue or graphics card issue. I switched to OpenCL and edited for a while and had the same issue again. I even took my machine to Apple and they put a new logic board and graphics chipset in it because we thought that would solve the issue. Again, same problems. I originally thought this might be just a Premiere Pro issue, however today I was exporting a 10 minute 4K, downgrade to 1080p video in AME and had the same glitch issue. This is what happens when a crash occurs:
The attached pictures give you an idea of what the screen is looking like when the glitch occurs.
Anyone experience this issue? Everything I have is up to date including CUDA, the Apps themselves, everything.

Premiere keeps crashing when trying to export. The program shuts down completely and when I reopen the project, it asks me to open it from a new recovery copy file. I tried multiple solutions but nothing worked. I tried sending the export to media encoder, removing the adjustment layers, remove the audio both on the timeline and or the export page. I tried copying the edit to a new sequence, removing effects thinking that it maybe had to do with key frames.
What I find weird is that I exported the footage in 3 parts, the intro the main section and the outro and all 3 parts exported fine but when I export it in a whole, it crashes. it would also be good to mention that I'm on the latest Adobe update.
Anyone know what could be the reason or a solution?
I have a video clip that has linked audio and this is noted (by icon) after I import and when I hear the audio when I view the clip after moving to the Source panel to mark in and out spots. When I then drag the clip to the Editing panel, the audio does not come along with the video. Is there some setting I need to change to get the audio to go with the video during this transfer from one panel to another?
I'm on a PC with Premiere Pro 2015 and cannot find my keyboard settings file nor my workspace preferences settings file. I would greatly appreciate someone pointing the way.
Also - On my new computer, should I copy my saved settings to the same location?

Since i have updated to the Premiere Pro CC 2017 update, the whole software is laggy, the preview is on the lowest possible quality and is impossible to edit with as it lags so bad. And rendering previews takes about 5 times longer too. The software was completely fine before the update and had no issue's. Thanks
I am using Premiere Pro CS6 on a Windows 10 computer and when I import AVCHD files recorded from my Canon XA35, everything works fine. But any mp4 video from the same camcorder (MVI files, whatever that means, which are recorded from the same camcorder at 4 mbps with a frame rate of 29 fps, if that helps?) just shows as media pending and no matter how long I wait, they never load. I have tried cleaning out my media cache but that doesn't help. If I first convert the mp4 file into an H.264 with a frame rate of 25 fps, then it will work. I would prefer to use mp4 rather than AVCHD because of file size but don't want to have to go thru the conversion with every recording. Is there anything in my settings that I can change to make the mp4 files work in Premiere?
Trying to add open captions to burn some subtitles in to a video but as soon as I drop the caption file into the timeline and start writing in the first block of captions Premiere 2017 (latest update) crashes. Every. Single. Time.
Cleared the media cache, cleared my settings (alt + shift at launch) same problem. It's cost me a day already and there's no viable alternative except to write out each block of captions in the titler.
What's going on???

For some reason, when I open Premiere Pro CC up, it says I need to update my drivers, even though they are up to date. I even uninstalled the product and install it again but it still displays that message! So please help!!

I've come across a quite major issue upon playback of an exported clip from Premiere - the video flickers every half a second to black, and then back to the video. I've attempted playback in multiple media players, and tried exporting through both Premiere/Media Encoder, however the issue persists. After a quick Google, it seems as though the issue arises from Adjustment Layers. So, I disabled the Adjustment Layer where my LUT is applied, exported, and as expected, the flickering was gone.
Issue is, I have over 200x 7sec edits that need delivering to the client by the end of this week - as such, finding a solution where the clips can be exported with the adjustment layer is essential - as apposed to going back through every clip and applying the LUT directly.
