I am a Youtuber who recently started using Premier pro, but when i drag in my microphone audio ( .wav file, 48000hz ) and my video file with game audio. it starts off well, but when i start editing the +- 20 minute file. after about 4-8 minutes, the microphone audio is seconds behind game video/audio. why does this happen? any help? sry if it's obvious i'm new to this... do i need to do anything with it, besides importing the stuff and dragging it to the timeline?
Hello,
I'm getting really bad performance in Premiere trying to play 4k files from cameras such as Fs7 and the f5.
These exact same files, playing off the same drive are fine in my 2012 iMac.
both systems are running identical versions of Premiere CC. 2017.0.1
Originally MacBook had Premiere 2017.0.2 running an I installed previous version to see if that would help but it didn't.
Basically trying to play a single clip at what ever player res in premiere, just gives a choppy playback. Fans in MacBook go crazy. It will play maybe a 3-5sec, drop frames, stutter etc, then play a few more seconds.
MacBook Pro specs are about as high as they can go...
15" 2.9 ghz
16 gig ram
additional GPU
the reason I think premiere is the problem is because the same clips can happily play in VLC at full res and computer barely raises a heartbeat.
Any ideas?
(Premiere settings identical between iMac and MacBook Pro - open CL etc)
Hello Creative cloud people

It seems I have a problem. I have done a search but nothing comes up that matches my problem. I have a project that I am working on. It has been playing great until today. I had just downloaded a Transition program from BestProAction and installed it. At that point when I clicked to play the timeline it was very jittery and not smooth. I did a test project hoping to see if that would correct the problem. No luck. The video used for the project and imported in plays OK outside Premiere. Only when it has been imported into Premiere does the problem occur. I ran a scan for viruses but with no luck.
The item that I bought from BestProAction was"Transition-10-Light-Flash-Pack". All my problems started as soon as I imported the transitions into my project. I took one of the 10 transitions which are .mp4 videos. When I over layed it on the video track above my two clips that I wanted to have transition on that's when the problem started. I'm thinking that it somehow changed the playback settings in PPRO CS6. Everything is normal outside of PPRO. Video plays normal etc.Is there anyway that I can restore that original settings in PPRO? Or is there anything that I can check and correct within the software? I realize now, after your post, that the problem developed somewhere
in PPRO C6 when I imported and dragged the Transition video to the timeline.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Harry
Not only am I dealing with the black source monitor bug, I can't even output h264. Why do we pay a fee per month for beta (at best) software again?

Since i have updated to the Premiere Pro CC 2017 update, the whole software is laggy, the preview is on the lowest possible quality and is impossible to edit with as it lags so bad. And rendering previews takes about 5 times longer too. The software was completely fine before the update and had no issue's. Thanks
Hi together,
we are crashing on one Windows 10 Build 1603 client. The product we use is also Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.
Premier has stopped working immediately after launch.
The solution we tried so far:
- install on another computer
- uninstall/install Adobe Premier
- update Graphic Card Driver
- create a new Userprofile
- ran cmd command "netsh winsock reset"
- log off / log on in Create Cloud
We are not using an Administrator account because of company policy. From the Eventlogs we can see the dvaui.dll is causing this issue.
@Vidya Sagar: Do you have other solutions we can try to fix the issue?
Best regards
Tham Tran
I've been using Premiere for some time now with no issues. However, today I have run into a most disturbing problem. If I add one more clip to my project all hell brakes loose. I can no longer see the play cursor move as I scrub through the timeline (though I can scrub). I cannot select any clips in my sequence. Clips do not show previews if I mouse over them and slide the mouse. Bottom line: the software becomes completely unusable. This is the first time we have use the dynamic link library with premiere so I thought maybe that might be causing the problem. Deleted the linked file and added the file that was causing the original problem. Everything worked... I thought the problem was solved... but adding just one more clip, again, made premiere go haywire. This is incredible aggravating as hours of work are being lost. If I minimize premiere and bring up back the screen is completely grey. Deleting the last added clip (doesn't matter what I add as a clip) return premiere to a working state. Anyone know what is going on? Please help!
Hey there, I am new to working with VR. I used samsung gear 360 camera and only shot 180 degree video.
Is there any links you can send me to for setting this up in Premiere pro and exporting properly for 180 degree VR? I see lots for 360 and have watched some. When I export and try to view in VR delight player its wrapped all the way around and is not displaying properly.
This is what we want ours to look like when exported and player in our player ‼️ Abbie Cat – 180 degree - YouTube
See how there is some black space and the video does not wrap all the way around like a 360 video?
Thanks
Kevin

Hi guys
I'm using Win10 and I have an irritating problem since installing Pr CC 2015.3. Every time I open the dynamic link to Audition (2015.2) or import a wav file I get an error message saying "...Pr v 10.3 is not compatible with the Pr plug-in version 5.8.5. The issue affects all wav files, regardless of being output from Au or not. Fortunately the Au or the wav files do continue to open.
Has anyone any ideas on how to solve this (as the latest version of Au is running...)
Regards,
Graham
Hi, I posted about this before but still need help. When I updated to Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.3 (from the previous version of PP), all of my audio plug-ins were gone. When I tried to reload them into PP, I get this message after it seems to be loading all of the plug-ins, and then none of them have loaded. Surely I am not the only person who has had this problem? Someone suggested I repair permissions on my boot drive, which I did, and I still get this error message in PP. I literally cannot do any video work until I have my audio plug-ins back. If no one on this forum can help me, can I contact Adobe directly? Also, I am on a Mac Pro (4,1) running Mac OS 10.10.5.
Thanks!
Nicholas
I have just started using a Wacom Intuos tablet, with latest drivers installed and on Windows 7. A couple of funny things are happening and I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing or if Adobe can offer any advice.
First, with my button on the pen set to scroll/pan, when I try scrolling the timeline, it jumps around, moves back and forward, and doesn't scroll smoothly in the direction that I try. The scrolling function works absolutely fine in other applications I use.
Second, when tapping and dragging on a parameter (eg horizontal position in Effect Controls), if I move the pen past the edge of the tablet's surface, the value jumps immediately to some massive number. For example if it starts at 960, it slowly increases, then when the pen hits the edge it jumps to around 5000, which then means I have to rest the parameter and start again being careful to not go near the edge.
Just wondering if anyone else has these issues? And is there any third party software (outside Wacom's own) which I can use to manage the tablet?
Hello
I've shot videos on Pixpro, stitched them and they import fine on to Premiere. I have enabled the VR settings and get the VR special viewing screen.
But when I go into VR settings - to change the Frame Layout from Stereoscopic to Monoscopic, it is all greyed out and I cannot change it.
Does anyone know why this is happening? And what impact being stereoscopic will have on my final video, which I want to export and put into a Samsung Gear VR?
Thanks for your help.
Hi, my question is re: using Google Drive as the place to save the project. I have always saved my Premiere Pro projects either on my laptop or on an external hard drive (or, both). However, this summer I'm teaching video production at a community college, where students can't save anything on the college computers (everything gets erased as soon as they turn the computer off). They all have and want to use Google Drive. I would love some advice on how that works with Premiere, as I'm unfamiliar with the process. Is the process 1) save Premiere Pro project and all video files to Desktop, 2) upload to Google Drive? Will they have to reconnect the media every time they return to work off of the Goggle Drive? When they do want to return to work on the project, do they have to copy it back to the Desktop, or can they work directly off of the files in Google Drive? (My main concern is that moving folders/files can lead to the media offline issue, how do I avoid in this case? Any advice would be great, thank you!! -Ali
Whenever I'm in Premiere trying to import using windows explorer by double clicking import or whenever I go to export and change the name/location Premiere just crashes. A windows trouble shooter box comes up and then says close program. Thats it, no errors, nothing.
It doesn't happen when I start a new project until after I've imported the initial set of footage, every time after that it crashes.
Happens on all project doesn't matter what footage I'm using.
Need desperate help since importing and exporting are literally the most vital parts of premiere.
Specs:
- Windows 10 Pro
- Intel i7 4770k
- 32gb Corsair LP RAM
- Nvidia GTX 780ti - drivers updated
Thanks.
Premiere Pro CC 2017 is crashing at startup on my Mac. The instant I see the splash screen, it disappears and so does the Premiere icon from the dock. I do not get any sort of error notification. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, which didn't help. I am running OS Sierra 10.12.5
