My original clips are 4.5k RED files (red raven) and when I attach their proxies (through ingestion) and I toggle the proxy files on the timeline the proxies look stretched out in the viewer. Anyone know how to solve this?

Unable to install Fram.io extension
I had the Frame.io extension installed just last week, but now it seems to have disappeared.
I double checked that it was installed through Adobe Exchange and that the Creative Cloud Desktop App is installed with file syncing turned on. All of this was good yet still no extension.
I then tried to install the extension manually using the instructions from here: Install Instructions
I downloaded the .zxp file, downloaded and installed Anastasiy’s Extension Manager, and then tried to install the extension that way, but got an odd error that said, "The extension is damaged or cannot be accessed, please re-download it. You may need to use a different browser or download manager. Please also try repairing your disk permissions using Disk Utility or Windows Explorer"
I then tired re-downloading the .zxp file with no luck.
Anyone have a solution?

Render issues now blamed on Lumetri = adobe say to wait for an update...
Just spent 2.5 hours on a help chat with the result being that lumetri, they say, is causing the issue and I should wait for an update.
Tell my client who's awaiting a video to wait an unspecified amount of time? Tell the next few clients we can't work for them because Adobe is faulty?
This issue of render has been ongoing for so long for so many people. It is simply disgraceful that Adobe are happy to take our money and deliver problems they happily admit are their fault
Might be time for Resolve I think
Exporting video using PNG format
I need to export videos with transparency using the PNG format for use in other programs. I can't seem to do it.I'm sure I'm missing a simple export step but I cannot figure it out. Could someone please walk me through a typical export procedure with the proper steps to get to the png codec so we don't have to go back and forth with this discussion.
Thank you so much. I did this a year or so ago and for some reason I can't today. I will save a preset when I solve this.
Error occurred saving the project.
Hi I have a project created on Adobe Premiere pro CC 2018. but when i will 'save' my project appears text " An unknown error occurred while saving the project. Select 'Save As' from the file menu to save the project to a new location." . It keeps happening when I change my project. And I've done save as with some different names, because if the same name the contents of the project will be lost. what should i do to solve this problem? Please help.
Premiere pro video fast forward on its own without changing the speed of the video.
I have issue with premiere pro, I was using premiere pro cc 2015 but because of updating my premiere pro to 2017.01, the file that I open have issue. The videos suddenly fast forward on its own. I did not change the speed and Is there a way to downgrade back to 2015?
Is this an issue with frame rate? Because my footage uses different camera.

Captions dissapear when i make a change to them
Hi,
Last week I made a project. Video is about 3 minutes long with captions from start to end.
Now I opened the project just now because I needed to change a few words in the captions.
However, when I change one letter, or delete one letter, the captions dissapear on the program monitor.
There still on the timeline and only the very first text caption appears on screen as "Type caption here"
Picture 1 is when I open the project and picture 2 is when I delete the dot on the first sentence.
I Used open captions.
Working in Premiere Pro CC 2018
Windows 10
Premiere Pro CC2018 unusable
Hello,
recently Premiere Pro CC 2018 became unusable for me, as the whole software is lagging all over the place. Importing clips, adjusting them and even playback at 1/4 is a mess. Until ~three weeks ago I had zero problems with it but right now I cannot even edit simple videos. Other Adobe Software as After Effects or Lightroom are working flawless.
My specs:
AMD Ryzen 3 1200
Nvidia GeForce 1080 Mini
16GB RAM
240GB SSD + 5TB HDD
Windows 10
Here is what I tried so far without suceeding:
Downgrading to CC 2017 --> Still the same problems with Premiere Pro
Disabling Accelerated Intel-h.264-encoding --> "
Trying different kinds of raw footage/sequence adjustments --> Issue seems to be unrelated to this
Wiping my system --> Hours of downloading software again and Premiere still lagging
At this point, I'm using my Macbook Pro (Mid 2015) for editing, here Premiere Pro CC 2018 works as usual. However as it has weaker specs, it isn't a nice experience to work with it for bigger projects.
Future versions of Premiere Pro will no longer support Quicktime 7 era formats and codecs
Hello everyone,
I’m the product manager for Premiere Pro. As there will be a change to our file format support starting with the next release of Premiere Pro, I wanted to be sure you’re aware of what that’s going to look like. Below is the official statement and a link to further information. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Adobe continuously aims to keep up with the most modern workflows and support formats and codecs broadly used across the professional film and video industry. As a result, future versions of Premiere Pro will no longer support legacy QuickTime 7 era formats and codecs. Professional codecs typically found in QuickTime movie files, such as ProRes, DNxHD, and Animation, are not impacted by this change. These codecs are supported natively in Premiere Pro.
To alert Premiere Pro users regarding this pending change, the most recent versions (12.0, 12.01) of Premiere Pro show a warning notification when you attempt to use a legacy QuickTime format or codec that will no longer be supported, starting with the next release.
If you are affected by this change, please stay tuned for more information regarding next steps.
Open captions, opacity
Hi,
Encouraged by a forum member I start this new thread. I am looking for help with the following inconsistently appearing problem. I am using the pc version of Premiere Pro CC 12.1.1 Build 10. Licence acquired by my employer.
In my latest project (an interview series with five interviewees) I have successfully created three out five open captions.I adjusted the captions to my liking (background opacity, font size, position and so on) but as I tried to create the next caption, the fourth, all of a sudden the option of changing opacity was gone (the icon is grayed out). All of this happened in the course of one editing session.
What I have tried to do to overcome this:
-duplicate earlier captions (not working as the caption text mysteriously remains visible).
-Reset to Saved Layout (not working).
I have added a screenshot displaying the impossible situation of Open Captions with 50% background opacity (upper right hand side monitor) yet the Captions dialogue box (lower left hand side) showing the background opacity icon grayed out.
Any input? What can be done? Anything I am doing wrong?
Thank you for any help.
Sasa
ps. I have to hand in this project by Friday July 6 as I then leave for summer holidays.

Playback won't stop in multicam sequence
Here's a new one.
When editing a multicamera sequence, I keep running into this weird phenomenon where I can't stop the playback. I hit the space bar, start making cuts, then when I want to stop I hit the space bar again and nothing happens. The sequence keeps playing, sometimes stopping after a couple a minute or so, sometimes not until the end of the sequence.
The nested multi-cam sequence has just 4 streams of DSLR video. The machine I'm using has plenty of CPU power and memory and an nVidia GPU, so I'd be surprised if resources are a problem. The source media is on a Raid-0 array.
I've tried switching the resolution to 1/4, but this makes no difference. I have several layers of audio but have solo'ed just one to see if that would help. No.
Any suggestions?
PremierePro / MediaEncoder - PC crashes when exporting MP4
My camera saves videos in AVI format. All I did was to slice and put them together, nothing fancy.
If I do this on my PC, it crashes on export. Fans start to rev up then it crashes (the while PC, not just the app).
Same thing happens if I export it through MediaEncoder and have nothing else running.
Same thing happens if I simply try to convert any AVI file into MP4.
This wasn't happening ~3 weeks ago till maybe there was an update on this apps or a Windows update.
My own workaround is to "send" my work in AfterEffects and then export, all the fans rev up as usual but it's not crashing.
Another option is to do this from the laptop, which has the same version of Windows 10 and same Adobe latest versions. I keep everything updated.
I tried reinstalling the Adobe apps on my PC, nothing fixed that.
And yes, it's clean and I don't have any viruses or malware.
Slow startup
I use Premiere CC 2018 on an iMac running High Sierra.
When I restart my computer the first time I run Premiere it really takes a long time to start.
If I quit Premiere and restart it the time to start the program is really so much shorter.
Anybody experiences the same behaviour?
Where is the "Browse in Bridge" option?
I just updated from CS6 to CC 2018 in Premiere Pro and I can't found the "Browse in Bridge" option in File menu (I believe that option was disscontinued), what I can do?
Premiere Pro CC 2018. The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005)
Since i have updated the last version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 on my laptop last week, I'm no able to start anymore the application as the following notification window error pops-up:
THE APPLICATION WAS UNABLE TO START CORRECTLY (0xc0000005). CLICK OK TO CLOSE THE APPLICATION
I am kindly asking help to solved this issue because I've been searching this issue on the web and you tube with no possible solution till now
I thank you in advance
