I've been getting the error below for some weeks now. No pattern to when it happens in regard to what I'm doing.
PP crashes and I have to restart the program with a saved copy. I'm running Windows 10 Pro.

installed Prem Pro CC 2018 and CC All Apps on 19.4.18 and used Prem Pro CC once since then with no issues. Currently have the latest update:
All other Apps working OK (Lr/Ps etc)
When starting a project I can import media files ok when I drag the files onto the timeline the app crashes.
Have tried to import different MP3/MP4/jpeg Files. They all import ok but once I drag to the timeline the app crashes.
When I import (for example 1 jpeg file in the import window it shows as two files with one file in black the other file shows in a grey box. This happens whatever file type that i import.
Via the CC Control panel - I have tried to install other versions (IE 2017) I am unable to open and run or action anything from this control panel.
I have also gone into my desktop settings and tried to uninstall Prem Pro CC with a view to reinstall (try to install 2017 version) I'm not able to do this.
My laptop is 5 months. Here is the spec:
GTX 1050 Ti 4GB - i7 7700HQ
1x Seagate 1TB 2.5" Firecuda SSHD Hybrid Drive
1x Intel AC-8260 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth Mini Card
1x Windows 10 Home 64-bit
2x 4 GB DDR4 SO-DIMM 2133 MHz Memory

When I drag one specific clip from the source into my project sequence the audio information seems to disappear. All other clips are importing audio fine.
I can hear the audio and see the infographic information when i play the clip in the source monitor but when i drag it into the sequence there is no audio information anymore.
I've tried rendering the clip and taking into the sequence in different ways. I've tried taking the audio only and still the same result.
Any ideas are appreciated!
Eu instalei recentemente uma Nvidia 7200GS no meu pc e quando abri o premiere ele não rodava o preview, tentei usar o GPUSniffer e ainda não consegui. o que devo fazer???
I have videos that when I import or drag and drop them into Premier the first 8-10 seconds are being removed so the imported video is 8-10 seconds shorter. I've tried various Codecs (mp4, mov, m4v, ts) and it's happening with the video regardless. I can view the entire clip in other players. The clips were created with the Screen record in the iPhone control panel from Apple that was released in IOS 11. If anyone has any ideas how I can get premier to bring in the full clip it would be greatly appreciated!!
I decided to switch from Apple FCPX to Premier Pro 12.1.1 once I upgraded to new MSFT Surface Book.
I am running Windows 10 Pro Version 1803.
Premier Pro won't save and run at all without crashing. It appears completely unstable on this platform.
I received error message each time and I submitted the crash reports along with my email this morning, but no automated or other response yet.
Please advise. Thanks.

J'ai un Screenshots .mp4 qui fait 40s quand je l'importe sur premier pro ça me coupe les 20 premier seconds de ma vidéo et je ne sais pas pourquoi et j'ai essayer de faire tout ce que je connais pour résoudre ce problème sans aucun résultat.
Qui peut m'aider stp ?

Hi, I am editing off a laptop with 2 ssd slots and 1 hdd drive. Currently my setup is :
128gb ssd : OS, Software, and media cache
1tb internal hdd : Photos
1tb external hdd : Video source files
I see that some people recommend getting a dedicated ssd for cache files and source files to edit will significantly improve performance, so is it worth getting a 250gb ssd just for those files?

I'm trying to create a video in Premiere Pro (latest version) that has a width of 1080px and a height of 1926px.
I've already changed the frame size to match the above numbers in sequence settings (using the 'Custom' option).
However when I go to import my images (which are all 1080x1926) in to my timeline, I can see black bars either side of the image in the preview window. Exporting the video seems to still show black bars too.
Hope that makes sense. I would really appreciate any advice with this.
The video doesn't use any footage - it's a simple slideshow using images sized in Photoshop.
I just had to open an old premiere project made back in 2015 to alter some titles for a client. But when opening it, as usual it prompts to create a newer file since it is opened with a newer version op premiere. This works but then it takes a real long time to locate the media and when finished it claims that audio in the files do not match the original media.

I've read some forums on this. One claimed solution could be te upgrade OS to High Sierra. But for me there's a lot of plugins I use that are not yet suitable for High Sierra or even Sierra. So I'd like to stick with El Capitan for now. I've also reinstalled older versions of premiere to open the project file, but then it hangs while locating the media. I've not changed anything about the project and all files are exactly where they should.
Please help me out. Anyone a better advice then upgrading OS for this?

I desperately need help fixing the warp stabilizer freeze/crash on step 2(during stabilization). I use premiere pro to provide a living for my family and I heavily depend on using warp stabilizer! Its a hard screen freeze that it wont come back from. A few times it will show a BSOD whea uncorrectable error.
I have two computers I have been swapping hardware on, trying to determine what the problem is. I made a fresh install of Windows 10 on a separate ssd and installed latest version of Premiere Pro. I have two testing stations, my workstation and another PC(we will call this PC2). I used this Windows 10 ssd with premiere in both computers. Warp stabilizer works on PC2 and will freeze/crash on my workstation using the SAME Windows 10 ssd. So I transferred devices, one by one. I changed the GPU and RAM on the workstation and same problem on Windows 10 ssd. So it has to be the motherboard/CPU/Driver on the workstation. I ran PC-Doctor to run extensive checks on all my hardware and everything passed. I ran Intel Processor Diagnostic and it passes. There are zero error log files here: C:\Users\Backup\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\12.0\logs. I honestly don't know where to go from here. I'm practically at the point of buying some other video editing software because of the crisis this has caused with completing jobs that pays for my family's living.

So I just updated my Premiere and some of my video clips are importing as just audio.
Is there any fix for this or should I just go back to using an older version?
I have created Essential Graphics template in After Effects. And I want to use this with "responsive design - time" in Adobe Premiere Pro. Is there any possibility to do that? How to prepare template to work with that option?
I rendered a QuickTime move today RGB+Alpha in After Effects and imported it into the Premiere to layer on top of another file. It does not show at all on the timeline though I can scrub through it just fine in the source Window. I know Adobe dropped support for older codecs, but I have the latest updates for both programs. Shouldn't they be equipped with the latest codecs?

I upgraded from Premiere CC 2015 to CC 2018 and, when I insert a video in the sequence and play it, the video plays too fast and flashing a red screen, the audio plays normally. I tried changing from Processor to Memory, but it didn't work.
Please, help!

Audio playback in the timeline stops working, video is fine. Waveform also flat-lines. To be clear, audio is working one moment then not the next and will not return until PP is restarted. Can anyone help?
