Error: A low level exception occured in: Adobe Scopes

I recently upgraded to Premiere CC 13.0.2.

I was working on a project today and it was all fine and now I have this error show up and now no media will play in PPCC. Prior to this audio was lagging and stopped syncing with video even though visually it was synced!

After several attempts at fixing I rebooted but now PPCC will crash every time I try and close the program and have to force quit.

I'm on Mac OSX Mojave 10.14.2 with a Macbook Pro Late 2013.

Help meeeeee!

Premiere Pro CC crashes when I try to change the file name before export

Hello,

This issue recently started happening - Premiere Pro CC crashes when I try to change the file name before an export. Premiere runs smoothly at every part of the edit until I come to exporting a file either directly or through media encoder. I can get as far as changing all export settings but as soon as I click the filename to change it, I get an error message (attached).

Never had this before, not installed anything new on my system, running windows 10, decent specs etc.

All adobe software is up to date also.

Any ideas on this? This is my first posting so sorry if I have missed anything off that will help you guys!

Cheers in advance,

Render and Replace with effects

Hi.

I usually have to apply some heavy noise reduction effects to some of my clips before I start color correction and keying. I use neat video which is extremely heavy.

I though that after I had enabled neat video, that I could render and replace the media and to real time editing (the same way you would do to an after effects clip in premiere). However, it does not seam to render in the noise reduction, and the clip is still "red" after render. Any idea why this does not work? Any workarounds?

Thanks!

Premiere stuttering - not just with playback

I am having issues with Premiere 2019. Projects are stuttering between running fine, and all the environment panels (bins, audio meters etc.) freezing. How far apart the freezes are is directly proportional to the number of items in the project bin. For a large project (100s of footage clips), it's around 5 seconds. For small projects (10s of footage clips), it's a second or so.

I have come across the "Audio input: none" solution for similar problems (under hardware settings). I have no mic, and so this solution doesn't work. I did strangely, however, manage to temporarily fix the issue by plugging a pair of headphones in the mic input, and setting the audio input. Each time I think I've worked around the issue, however, it comes back.

I have had Adobe staff remote control my computer, and managed to create a test project by importing another project in. Their conclusion was that it was a corrupted workspace. However, I have reset and deleted old workspaces, and this solution does not seem to work for all projects every time.

This is not a playback issue. I have a project with 100s of rushes in bins, ready to edit, but literally no sequences yet, and just clicking around the project bin on the different folders is an issue. For a few seconds it works, then for a few seconds it's unresponsive. Repeat.

One Adobe support staff told me that it was a performance issue. I don't believe this. I have two versions of the same project, one that runs perfectly, and one that stutters. I have 32GB of memory, and a Quadro M6000 graphics card on PC.

I've tried trashing preferences, I've done a complete reinstall. Adobe Customer Care haven't managed to fix the issue. I'm hoping someone else can help.

When I drag and drop files onto my timeline, premiere zooms the clips in for no apparent reason, as seen on the left image. Why? Thank you

While 'Play to Out' results in this stop point:

Which one is the correct Out point?

Also, is there away to specify a specific stop point for playback in a larger timeline?

Thanks

Maximise Screen Shortcut Doesn't Work

Haven't used PP for a couple of months, and one of my main "getting set up" shortcuts is gone.  It was the backtick ` which would make the window go full screen.

windows key and up doesn't work on the second and 3rd screens, and it would also hide the title bar and menu bar, giving me more real estate...

I have searched the commands and shortcuts and can't find this anywhere, has it been removed?  If so why?

Also ~ to make a single panel full screen doesn't work anymore :-(

Slipping Keyframes: Yes? or NO?!

$

Hi everyone,

When you slip a clip with keyframes in the Timeline, do you want its keyframes to slip along with the clip?

In my case, 99% of the time, I DON'T!  Why?  Because the vast majority of the time, I set motion/effect/audio keyframes based on events in the sequence (i.e. music cues, dialogue, other clips/cuts, titles, etc), NOT based on the content of the clip itself.  However, in Premiere you can't slip a clip without its keyframes slipping too.  In After Effects, it's the opposite, slipping a clip NEVER slips the clip's keyframes.  The After Effects team gets it, that an editor's workflow requires keyframes to stay put when slipping a clip.  So why doesn't Premiere Pro's team get it too?

This is a huge editing headache for me and no doubt for so many other editors.  Thankfully, the solution could be so simple:

Slip a clip = Keyframes don't Slip

CTRL-Slip (or Command-Slip) a clip = Keyframes slip together with the clip (current PP behavior)

This solution would accommodate all workflows, allowing keyframes to slip or stay put depending on the situation!  So to answer the question of "Slipping Keyframes: Yes or No?", I say give us the power to decide!

What do you think?

I've sent FRs to Adobe for this in the past but it seems we still won't get a fix for this in CS Next, so I'm hoping to get others on board, sending Adobe their own FRs so we can finally get this part of Premiere Pro working intelligently, the way After Effects does.  Here's the link for your FRs: http://www.adobe.com/go/wish (there's power in numbers, so if you've ever been annoyed with Premiere's slipping keyframes, please add your voice with a formal FR!)

Delete the space between multiple clips, at once, on the timeline?

Is there a way to delete the space between multiple clips on the timeline with one click?

I trim clips on the timeline, so I can have a couple hundred clips with space between on the timeline.  Is there a way to delete all the spaces between the clips at once?

Right now I have to ripple delete the space between each clip, big hassle and a lot of key strokes. Is there a better faster way to trim clips in general?  Or delete the spaces on the timeline?

I have seen through search that this issue has come up before, but today I did the update (13.0.2) to Premier Pro and that dialog came up. After the search on this forum and Google, and after trying everything suggested, I finally just reverted to the last install and all was well. I will wait until I see another update before trying again and Auto Update is off for this app.

No changes to my system (Windows 10 64 bit, Asus MB, i7-7700K CPU, 16 ram, AMD Radeon RX 460). Glad there was another system handy that had not been updated. Curious about others experiencing this issue again. Many of the suggested cures refer to past Windows and AMD drivers and processes, so hard to know if current choices are valid options or if new things must be tried. I did uninstall and reinstall to Premier Pro also to no avail. Only reversion seems to work. No bug fixes for this system, only bugs.

Skip between VOB files ripped from DVD

Hi, I'd like to edit a video ripped from a DVD, but there is a skip between the VOB files when I view them from the timeline. I went frame by frame and it just looks like there's a frame missing between the clips. I checked the source DVD on a DVD player, and there's no such skip when watching it there. I was able to rename the VOB files as MPEG's and tried editing those on the timeline, but the result was the same glitch between clips.

I don't know if it will help, but I'm running the most recent, 2018 version of Premiere Pro, and the video is 720*480, 29.97 FPS, the audio is 48K/16 bits

Exporting open captions to .srt file premiere - Trouble Shoot WIN!

I just wanted a share a random solution to this problem. I had an open captions file I needed to export as .srt. I read the forums I did everything everyone suggested. Still the export drop down had the captions greyed out. It was not appearing as an option when it should have!

NOW... I was working with my laptop as one display with another display attached via HDMI to my laptop. I had the project panel and time lines in the HDMI display (cos it was bigger) and the program window on my lap top screen (for more accurate colour calibration). I had exported video no problem with this workspace set up, over and over... and yet... to get the captions option to appear in my export drop down, quite randomly and gloriously I discovered,  I had to move the project window into the my laptop display! Presto! Highlight Captions file in project window go to File> Export and there is was, the "captions" menu was available. Hope this helps someone out there in weird witchy tech land.

Premiere blew my macbook pro speakers

I have a new 2 month old 15" MBP. I Was working on a project, macbook volume was about on half, when suddenly an audio bug occurred with really loud screatching noise and not letting me pause it. After it stopped, the speakers were really quiet, and after the next restart they're clearly blown. Initially I blamed the hardware, though the same thing happened a day later with my Sony 1000X-M3 headphones, luckily the headphones are ok, but that did give me a heart attack.

The situation is not ok, I am not happy. Adobe customer care chat is ridiculous.

Automate background change and exporting

Hi everyone,

I'm glad to ask my question in such an active community.

I have a project that's a fix background picture with a couple animated objects layered on top.

I have a database of pictures I'd like to use as backgrounds and a CSV file with all the links pointing to those images.

I'd like to generate multiple exports of this project with a different background picture each time.

Does anyone knows if it's possible to automate the background switch and the export?

If yes, how?

Thanks for your attention!

Mixed Framerate XML doesn't mathc in Davinci Resolve

$

I have a project with a 24fps sequence. Some of my clips are at 29.97 and they get adjusted fine. The problem is when I export an XML for color grading in Davinci Resolve 14. The In and out time codes jump in some cases few frames but in others up to 12 seconds.

I dig more and found that Premiere changes the time code to the clips that are edited in the sequence and export them with that wrong time code.

This is really annoying. What could I do to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I have an issue when exporting in Prores 4444 with files being of variable fps all over the place: 18.19, 24,84, 23,74.
The goal is to have a file of 25 fps.
These are the export settings:

Screen Shot 2018-12-11 at 11.48.29.png

The project contains material of different codecs, some of variable frame rate but I have never experienced Premiere exporting files with what seems random frame rates?
How do i solve this issue?

I am using Premiere Pro CC Version 12.12

Thanks.
