This has been happening quite often, Premiere will lock up with the color wheel when I double-click RED media into the source window. I can't diagnose the cause, but I think there may be a conflict between the autosave and opening a clip. When I force quit the app, I get the notification dialog box saying Premiere is attempting to save, as well as the progress bar box from the autosave trying to save, but it doesn't. Perhaps it's trying to do two things at once?

 

I'm using 8K clips and linking to the Monstro's auto-generated 2K proxies in the same folder directory. My media is spanned across eight drives using two USB-C 4-bay enclosures. I don't think speed is an issue, but I'm on the latest version of Premiere. It wasn't doing this before the 13.0.2.

I got the Adobe Premiere Pro 2019, and after 2 days, this issue came up. I have not been able to use Premiere since then. I re-installed the program, but the issue is still there. What can I do?

Hi,

 

I have been having this problem for while now that came after a few updated versions ago. When I have a timeline full of clips and I decide I want to move one clip to a new spot or switch it out for another clip, the other clip that is after it will have a few frames from the clip that was previously next to it at the beginning so I have to go in and trim a few frames off of each clip that is next to one that I moved and it is really starting to frustrate me as I can not figure out what the problem is. Anyone else have this problem?

 

Let me know if I did not explain well. It is a bit hard to explain.

FX changes dont show in preview window/rendered project if I use animate button.

said fx changes should add purple tint (in case you dont know your colors) which i want to slowly come over the project highlighted part

edit: if i dont animate it, it looks rough but it works. but its so beyond ugly... so its only when i animate it, and this goes for ANY fx changes.

Hi everyone.

I got some aerial shots using a Mavic Air drone, my settings were:

120 fps

1080p

However, when I imported all those clips to Adobe Premiere all said 30fps.

Does anyone have an idea about this issue and how to solve it?.

Having a serious issue where the screen blinks on my Macbook Pros when working in Adobe Premiere.  At first I thought it was the computer so I actually returned a brand new 2018 Macbook Pro and ordered another one, well, EXACT same issue.  I also originally thought it was all apps but it's only if I have Premiere running that this happens.  I posted a few videos on youtube showing it.  Here is a link to the videos:

Computer is 2018 Macbook pro, 32 RAM, 1T SSD, Vega 20 graphics.  Nothing else installed on the computer yet but Adobe Programs.  Oddly enough when I plug in an external HDMI monitor the flickering ceases and when I close Adobe programs it also goes away (even though in the videos I thought it was across them, Premiere was still running).

So ive been working on a project all day today. Everything was going smoothly, keeping up on rendering and everything so I had no issues with play back and checking things. Then all the sudden, Premiere kind of froze for a minute. I had to close it.. Re opened, and my project Bins when I click on any sort of clips it says Media Pending. Also the last half of my timeline project I was working on that is not rendered yet is also saying Media Pending. But all the footage before that is rendered is playing fine still. Wondering if anyone has had the issue and knows of some sort of quick fix.. Thanks

Since downloading the recent update of premiere pro (13.0.2), whenever I try to modify my stereo audio (which only has sound in one ear) to dual mono, no audio waves show up on my clip when I put it in the timeline. Any answers?

Adobe says to download the most recent Nvidia drivers but Nvidia says my drivers (P6000) are up to date : result, I cannot use CUDA hardware rendering anymore in AME CC 2019 after installing Premiere 2019: how does one enable CUDA engine (as opposed to the software alternative)?

 

Renderer says : Choose Open CL or CUDA - but neither option is not available!

What tools in Premiere can I use to create the effects used in this video?

Hello everyone I am completely new to Adobe Premiere and I am trying to find out how I could recreate the effect in the following video: How To Play "Man in The Mirror" by Michael Jackson | HDpiano (Part 1) Piano Tutorial - YouTube

Every time the keyboard player presses down on a key that key is highlighted by a colored see through shape. I want to recreate that effect and be able to make it a transparent colored circle for some educational drum videos. Any help or information at all will be very much appreciated.

Hello

Happy New Year!

I tried synching up my files with Red Giant PluralEyes. WOnderful software that synchronizes the sound and the video waay better then Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve or Magix Vegas.

Then PluralEyes offers to save the synched timeline into an .XML file. I try to play all the synched up tracks in PluralEyes and it sounds perfect.

Then I open this generated XML track with Premiere and I notice that the synchronization between two "wild sound" speech recorders is off, enough to give me a robot voice.

My interviewee sounds as clear as in PluralEyes.

 

Then I open the same generated .XML file from PluralEyes in DaVinci Resolve Studio - It plays as clean as it did inside the PluralEyes.

Are my settings off?

Why is this happening? Why is Premiere misaligning the timeline?

Is it a rounding error of some sort?

 

I also observed the same thing after I spent some time lining up all the pieces by hand: I save the project, I exit and then I come back and it is all a little bit off.

Just a tiny bit, enough to make my voice sound unpleasant and not youtube-worthy.

 

Why is this happening? Is this a bug or are my settings off?

I currently am trying to animate some images, basic things like scaling it up a bit and moving across the screen, however when I set the keyframes it just stays on what I last set as the scale (and position keyframes).

When I try to move .mp4 files they animate/move just fine.

 

I've tried nesting the images already into it's own sequence but it is still not animating and has no movement.

If it does have movement it simply jumps from the first to the second (keyframes are spread out enough to where it shouldn't be jumping).

 

Any one know of anything that could help, thanks.

In my Premiere Pro project I use a lot of After Effect files to get titels, this by using Dynamic Link. (importing the AE workfile and using the selected comp)

 

Since the update to 2019 when I use this, it does not only chance the text in the effectspanel but it also changes the font. (for example, I would use the font Impact and it gets changed to Times New Roman)

 

Is there any way it only changes the content instead of the font.

 

It always worked perfectly in 2018, but since this does not work in 2019 I am forced to use 2018 instead of 2019.

Hi guys,

What's the best settings for exporting 5 minute clips for mobile devises?

Obviously, the screen dimensions will be a lot smaller, maybe Ipad size at best?

I currently have a 5 minute clip that is 168MB after selecting H264 and 720HD mobile devise.I'd like to get the overall size down to something smaller that will still look good on a mobile devise.

Hi, I am having an issue with Media Encoder.

 

When I'm ready to send a sequence from Premiere, I hit "Queue" and Adobe Media Encoder opens, but then nothing happens. It does seem to receive the information from Premiere.

 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both programs multiple times.

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Having issues with this since updating to 2019. Basically, after importing a clip into the timeline everything is as it should be (video plays, audio plays) but the audio waveform does not show up until it's played through so I cannot visually see the audio waves unless I play/skip through the whole clip, which obviously makes editing a lot slower.

 

Attached an example. Image 1 is the clip just imported to the timeline and image 2 is after playing through a few seconds (as you can see the audio only shows up after I've played through the clip and the remaining audio waves are still blank)

 

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

I recently purchased some titles which I have used with success in a previous project.

Recently, I dug out some (12 month) old footage to re-edited.

All was good but when I added the purchased titles, the footage that the titles covered became corrupt. I exported anyway, just in case it was only a preview issue but the exported footage was still corrupted.

I have upgraded my PP a number of times over the past twelve months and maybe these titles only suite the latest version of PP?

 

It's not a big issue but just wondering if there's a way of rectifying the problem?

Hi, very basic issue; exporting a video in H.264 to be uploaded to Icloud from Windows; exported video won't play in any of the idevices (Iphone X, Ipad pro) when uploaded, prompting "Unable to play video. This video cannot be played because the file format is unsupported.' Some information:

 

- video file:

- from 1440x1080, 29.97fps MTS (AVCHD) file

- to 1440x1080, 29.97 fps, VBR, 1 pass, max 12 mbps H.264 codes mp4 file

- Premiere Pro: Adobe Premiere Pro CC v 12.1.2 (build 69)

- Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Build 1803

- Intel Core i9-7920x, 32GB RAM, GTX 1080ti video card

- Pure beginner in video editing

 

Checked very basic topics (restart Windows, create new project file, icloud storage not full). Not sure what I'm missing but it must be pretty basic. Thks for the help.

Exporting a video is at least an order of magnitude slower with PP 2019 than it was in PP 2018. I wasted two and a half hours this evening in a chat session with an Adobe service rep. This program is unusable. Major step backwards for Adobe. This problem needs to be addressed ASAP.
