Is there a relatively simple way to paint an object in a video clip? First of all I'm a neophyte when it comes to video production (I'm a web designer). I have the full CS6 Master Collection, so is Premiere Pro the best tool or should I use one of the others? Oh, also is it cool to post a link to the youTube clip of it? Thanks.

How do I add a fade out? dragging the film dissolve effect to the end clip did not work
I bought the official training book. To create a simple fade out it says drag the film dissolve effect to the end of the last clip. That did not work. All I want is a simple fade in and a simple fade out.
Premiere pro crashing "invalid drawables"
I have multiple aging 2010 Mac Pros w/ GTX680 running 10.9.5 and CC 2014 (8.2.0 65) that are experiencing random crashes in Premiere Pro. We are leveraging the GTX680 for CUDA. Error logs are full of "invalid drawables".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Premiere Pro CS6 not recognizing audio in imported video
I'm a bit of a Premiere Pro novice, and I just started working with CS6. For some reason, when I import an h264 .mp4 video clip into my bin (via dragging it from a Finder window), then place it on my timeline, there's no audio. Same goes for export. I know for a fact that the source file did have audio; what am I doing wrong?
Possibility to view audio TC as frames
Hello!
Is there way to view audio TC as frames? Audio samples nor milliseconds are not any good for me. I would need to do math to check does the timecode match between audio and video.
Cheers
i transcoded gopro mp4 footage into 1080 prores mov footage and now the footage won't import into premiere. what happened?!
"general error" appears whenever i try to import the new .mov gopro footage. I am wondering what I can do to fix this?!
Premiere pro 2003 will not run on Win 8.1
I loaded premiere pro 2003 version on new computer running Win 8.1, got error concerning direct X problem. Is there a fix or am I out of luck with this old version of premiere and must upgrade to CC ?
Why is my audio extracted/out of sync/missing?!!
I subscribed to Premiere CC after my trial ended. The first time I opened the file after subscribing, everything seemed fine. Then I noticed several of the clips are either out of sync with audio, the waveform of the audio is flat, or even more strange-some of the video clips are playing the audio from a totally different clip! For ex: the video and audio for one clip is accurately labeled CLIP 130, but the audio that plays is from clip 77. When I try to replace the clip with the media in my bin, the clip in the bin is also playing the wrong audio for that clip. Premiere is playing the wrong audio for certain clips that were not giving me any problems before I subscribed. For the clips with flat waveforms I did Replace and Render which worked, but why did the audio disappear to begin with? And there are a few clips that have the right audio, but they are out of sync with the video by a few frames, like a badly dubbed movie. HELP PLEASE!!!!!
Consolidate and Transcode problem
Hi,
I'm having a strange issue with a 10 minute sequence. The original media has come from many different sources, but it is all QT, albeit in various different flavours. When I project manage the sequence it looks to be fine, however, when I play it back the audio on some clips is out of sync. On some of the clips I can re-link to the audio in the project, on other clips it still re-links to the correct audio, but with incorrect in & out points.
I have tried different methods of Project Managing (altering the Source/Format/Preset drop downs) and the only box I have checked is: Exclude Unused Clips.
Here're 2 screen grabs of the first instance in the sequence where this occurred. The first is the original sequence, the second is the Project Managed version - both with the Metadata panel open. This particular version was Project Managed using the following settings:
Source: Individual Clips
Format: Quicktime
Preset: Match Source - Apple Pro Res 422 (LT)
Has anyone encountered this? Does anyone know of a work around/fix?
My system details:
Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 (8.2.0)
Mac Pro (Late 2013)
3.5GHz 6-core Intel Xeon E5
16GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC
AMD Firepro D500 3072 MB
Yosemite OSX 10.10.3
AJA ioXT v.12.2.0
Thanks in advance!
I have both CS6 and CC installled in my computer. Although I had done my projects with CS6, when I click on prproj file, it runs the CC. What I have to do to make CC runs the prproj file instead of CC.

How to most efficiently create and export a .GIF file with Premiere Pro?
So I decided i wanted to create a GIF. I downloaded Premiere Pro and looked at a few tutorials to get me running. I imported a 1080p video and cut out my 3.10 second scene of choice. I created a title sequence and overlaid it as text on top of the GIF. Once I was finished tweaking it, I exported it as a GIF. The problem is that it was 58 MB! I was able to upload it onto Imgur because of their feature which condenses it from a .gif into a .gifv. The only problem with this is that I am unable to post the .gifv file into forums or other areas of the like. If I attempt to do so, a link to Imgur is posted instead. I attempted to upload the original .gif file to a few random sites that claimed the ability to condense .gif files, however; there was always an error when uploading my GIF. So I guess my questions is: Is there a way to condense the .prproj file in premiere so that the exported .gif is smaller as a result? Thanks guys!
Crash bug in Premiere when editing Marker descriptions and using scroll wheel
So I've noticed a really particular bug:
If I go to edit a Marker description in the Markers panel, and I add some text, then move the scroll wheel of my mouse, the program immediately crashes, with these errors:
"[/caravan/releases/2014.09/PremierePro/UIFramework/Src/HotTimecodeControl.cpp-203]"
"[/caravan/releases/2014.09/PremierePro/UIFramework/Src/InlineEditText.cpp-140]"
Then it has the standard: "Sorry, Premiere has to shut down. It will try to save your project" - But it never does make a recovery.
More details:
- This happens when the cursor is still active in the description box. If I've clicked out of the description box, everything works normally.
- It only happens in the Markers panel, not in the individual Marker dialog box
- It only happens after new text has been typed in or pasted in.
- It doesn't happen with the Name box
- It happens immediately upon touching the scroll wheel, even if it's just a nudge (in either direction)
- It happens in every sequence I've tried it in
Tech specs:
- Premiere CC 2014 (version 2014.1)
- MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2011), OSX Yosemite 10.10.1, 2.2 GHz clockspeed, 8GB RAM
- Wireless Logitech Mouse (the Anywhere MX) (with Logitech wireless keyboard)
- Not a single mouse issue before!
Anyone know if there's a patch or a workaround for this? I know it's specific enough of a problem to avoid, but I work with markers a lot and the scroll wheel on this mouse is sensitive, so can get easily nudged and thus instantly muck up all the work I've done since the last save...
Thanks for your help!
Adobe Premiere Pro Automatically Crops Source Video Upon Import
This is really confusing me and I've never had this kind of trouble before. I have source videos that are 720x480, but as soon as I import them into Premiere, they are cropped to 540x480. It's not a problem with sequence settings or anything, because the imported source file is cropped before it's even in a sequence. I tried looking on-line for a solution, but couldn't find any. Does anyone know how this can be fixed...maybe some import settings that I don't know about?
Here are some screenshots to visually represent what I was saying:
This is properties of the video
This is what Premiere automatically does right after the video is imported as a source
This is a screenshot when played with VLC:

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. This video is due Saturday and all my footage is cropped, please help me. Thank you!

Switching Audio Tracks in Clip Mixer with a Control Surface
A friend gave me an older control surface (Frontier Alphatrack). It is working great with clips on Audio Track 1, but I cannot figure a way to switch (activate) to other audio clip tracks so that I can quickly use the fader to make edits on subsequent tracks.
I was wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut to switch tracks within the Audio Clip Mixer so that I could program a button on the surface device.
Custom frame rate?
I am trying to acheive a stop motion like effect on my videos. I have right clicked on my sequence, selected sequence settings, changed editing mode to "custom", and then get a wider range of frames per second (10fps-60fps). But I need a lower fps than 10 to get a better looking stop motion effect. Possibly 6fps? I have tried right clicking footage, modify, interpret footage and then "assuming frame rate" but that gives a slow motion effect. This is in Premiere pro CC by the way. Thanks
Why is my mp4 clip importing with the incorrect length of time? It imports only half the length of the file...
I have 2 mp4 clips that I received from a client and both of them play fine in Quicktime. One is about 8 minutes and the other about 11 minutes. Though when I import them into premiere it only imports about 4 minutes from the first clip and about 5:30 for the other clip. And with the first clip, the audio sync is OFF completely. I've never had this happen before, any thoughts?
Loud Static Screams in Headphones in Premiere after Clip Edited in Audition
It hasn't happened in a while, but it has before. I will send a clip from Premiere Pro CS6 to be edited in Audition CS6 and when I go back to premiere to play the clip I get super loud static in my head phones and it really hurts my ears. Not really the safest thing and most definitely a bug. Just plain not cool. It really scares the crap out of me.
