Radial blur plugin for Premiere pro and Cycore FX inside Premiere

$

I'm surching for a radial blur fx inside of premiere pro that I can put on a adjustment layer as an effect, not as an dissolve. I tried BCC radial Fast blur, but with less success, cause as soon as I start animating any value, the plugin stop working properly.

Actually I thought there will be tonns of this effect from many plugin provider, but I find nothing except BCC.

Another point I is the ability to load the CC FX (Cycore FX) from AE into Premiere. I have seen this video from Eran Stern, showing how to import the AE pluging into Premiere. But it seem that this trick doesn't work for premiere 15.3 any more. https://www.provideocoalition.com/using-cycorefx-inside-premiere-pro-and-after-effects

THX for any help,

Premiere Pro CC2017 - Avid DNxHD quicktime export severly broken

Hi

We are experiencing some severe issues with exporting DNxHD quicktime media from Premeire Pro CC2017 and this is now giving us major headaches across all our systems. We are running on Mac OSX 10.11.3 on 27"  iMacs. The issue seems to occur if you export out a DNxHD quicktime from previously exported media from either Premiere Pro or Media Encoder. Avid DNxHD is our primary codec as its what our clients want back as they are mainly Avid based. So we convert any media we receive that is not already DNxHD to DNxHD and often create mix downs and export during edits for heavy effects work and then bring them back into projects to redit and export as a final project. Any time that we export out a DNxHD quicktime file from an existing DNxHD file created from CC the file will have all the frames in the wrong order and its random sometimes it just loops certain sections, there appears to be no consistent logic to this mess. I can redo the same encode and it will have the frames in a different order. This is a very serious problem that needs to be looked at asap. Its only the 2nd time you export that you get this issue.

Any body else have this issue, I put in a ticket weeks ago to support and no response so far

Warping, distorted, overwrapped 360 video output to youtube and mettle player

Distorted "over wrapped" footage.

Hi I have a problem with my 360 video and CG 360 video over wrapping onto itself thus heavily distorting the image and creating a black dot on the top and bottom of the images.  All my other footage is fine.   I'm working with Premiere pro CC 2017,  After Effects and Media Encoder and Mettle to create the CG ..  This only happens with a higher res clip that I've brought in and the CG tutorial of a city block fly through  which I've created based on a mettle tutorial   Skybox Tutorial - YouTube

Here is an example of whats happening https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnrLtiJ3-lk&feature=youtu.be

At the end of the tutorial the encoding options on my AE seemed to not offer the flexibility that the instructor has on his  but aside from bit rate adjustments and

changing to CBR I was able to set for youtube etc.

Anyone have this warping overwrapped  issue?  Do you know what causes it?

Thanks!

Aaron

Premier Pro Multicam editing

Why on Earth did the multicam editing change so drastically???  I cant stand this.  I used to be able to line up two clips on a timeline and sync them however I please...then drag that sequence into the create a new sequence icon and then enable multicam.  I got a separate window for my multicam editing and I got to KEEP my program monitor.  This workflow does not work anymore?  It seems like there are way many more steps and I cant keep my program monitor.  I absolutely hate this change.  I do not always have my clips for a multicam sequence in the same bin.  So how do I Create a new Multicam Sequence without that?  Why cant I just drag my sequence that has all the clips in it into a new sequence and enable multicam and start editing?  I also was able to just drag the scrubber to where I needed and stop when i needed and select whatever camera window I wanted and continue on.  None of this hit record button junk.  Please someone explain to me how this new workflow works better.  I still haven't figured it out.  I REALLY hate this BAD!!!!!

Premiere Pro won't let me export at all!

First time on the forums so please bare with me.

First here are my computer specs:

Processor: intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6400T CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21GHz

Installed memory (RAM): 12.0 GB

System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Computer: Dell (All-In-One)

I've got an issue going on with exporting a video in Premiere. So, I've got a 30 minute video needing to export. It gets to 92% and shuts down and shows the error message I sent with this post. Only thing weird about this project is within the sequence I have all of my shots in 1920x1080 except for one wide shot of the entire ceremony that was for some reason shot in 1280x720. Sorry for this **** show of a question, it's just been going on for a week and I'm creeping up on a deadline. This is the first time anything like this has occurred during an export and i am totally lost.  Any advice or knowledge would be great! I am desperate!

I have CC Premiere Pro 2017 installed on Windows 10 and Mac 10.11.6.  Using either system, is it possible to use Encoder 2017 to export the following file type:

Video Encoding: MPEG-2 Long GOP

File Type: MXF OP1A

HD 1080i (1920x1080@29.7)

Bitrate: 24Mbps

Chroma: 4:2:2

Audio Encoding: AIFF

Audio Bits Sample:24

Audio Channels:4

Embedded MetaData: SMPT436M

Embedded CC: CEA 708

Unsure how to achieve the 24Mbps and the MPEG-2 Long GOP.

Thank you.

Jagged edges for new Essential Graphics Titler

Hi guys,

I'm running Premiere Pro 11.1.0 (222 Build).

I find that the Essential Graphics Titler is producing titles with more jagged edges as compared to the Legacy Titler. Same issue over a few machines. Is there a fix for this? See the screengrab attached.

(Above text is legacy, below is the new essential graphics.)

Block dissolve effect not showing with certain export settings (h264)

Hi, not sure what I'am doing wrong and I've had a search around but can't find the answer.

I have a title at beginning of my video that has block dissolve effect.

When I go to export, the preview window shows the text just appearing with out the effect if I input my own resolution settings or click match source. If I choose one of the youtube presets then it will show the effect, if I click the source button at top left next to preview then it will also show the effect.

This is an issue though because I want to export at gopros 2k settings so can't use youtube presets.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Timeline is locked - 2017 Version of Premier

Since updating to the 2017 version of Premier in my Cloud subscription, I cannot add, edit, move or remove elements from the timeline in any of my projects (projects that worked perfectly with the previous version).  I'm using a 2012 Macbook Pro with 8 GB of ram and plenty of drive scratch space.  Is there a Timeline Lock Featuring that I am not seeing?  Please help, I'm at a stand-still until I can get this resolved.

Thanks,

Program window resolution problem

Hello. I am a new user of Premier Pro CC 2017. When I drag a source clip to the timeline, it appears in the Program window in a reduced resolution. In other words the head and feet of a subject are cut off. No adjustments of zoom or resolution in the Program window have any effect.

How can I fix to see whole frame?

Pr 2015.3 Plug-in Compatibility Issue

Hi guys

I'm using Win10 and I have an irritating problem since installing Pr CC 2015.3. Every time I open the dynamic link to Audition (2015.2) or import a wav file I get an error message saying "...Pr v 10.3 is not compatible with the Pr plug-in version 5.8.5. The issue affects all wav files, regardless of being output from Au or not. Fortunately the Au or the wav files do continue to open.

Has anyone any ideas on how to solve this (as the latest version of Au is running...)

h.264 export - bad quality

$

Hello,

I have been working on some beauty retouching in after effects, using dynamic link from Premiere Pro

Resolution 720p, frame-rate 29.97fps

Two clips, in my sequence, when rendered from premiere pro or media encoder in h.264 codec with Vimeo 720p HD preset come out looking horrible and I can't figure out why.  One clip has had significant grain added in after effects, so it kind of makes sense to me that h.264 codec is struggling to contain all that detail.  However, the second clip with problems is almost identical to other clips in the sequence which render fine - all I have done to these clips is motion tracking via a null for a masked clean-plate retouching workflow, and some other tracked masks for dodging and burning details.

The clips look gorgeous previewed in after effects and premiere pro, but on export it looks like someone has dialled in incredibly high compression - the kind of quality you'd see on youtube many years ago.

I tried different rendering engines (cuda, openCL, CPU) - no change

I tried increasing the bit rate to 20 on h.264 export - no change

I tried exporting uncompressed files from After Effects and putting them on the Premiere Pro Timeline, thinking it may be a dynamic link problem - no change

I tried stupid things like modify>interpret>(different interlacing options, manually ensuring that square pixels were chosen) - no change

I checked that the composition resolution in After Effects was set to the same as in Premiere Pro - no change

I tried drop-frame and non-drop in After Effects, just in case - no change

Strangely I imported one sequence into another sequence so I could rotate it 90º for an instagram story at 1080x1920 and that had less apparent distortion at the same h.264 export settings, although when I reduced the bit rate to less than 5 it completely broke down in the same two clips I was having trouble with.

I found a strange work-around to produce a slightly, and I stress - only slightly, better quality h.264 file for distribution - I exported the sequence as ProRes 422, uploaded to vimeo and downloaded vimeo's full resolution compressed version.  That is to say, that in this scenario, Vimeo's server based compression trumped premiere pro/media encoder.  I think this is unacceptable - especially given that Adobe is about to price hike all of us.

What is going on?  On my internet travels trying to solve the problem I came across an article from 2014 that demonstrated FCPX doing significantly better h.264 exports than premiere pro or media encoder.

Screenshots of one clip previewed in premiere and the output h.264 file below.

I am on Adobe CC media encoder and Premiere CC on mac. I have several projects which I am trying to directly import into Media Encoder for rendering. When I drag or File> Add Premiere Pro Sequence, it pops up a progress bar like it is importing but no dialog to choose the sequence to add or no items are in the media que.

What am I doing wrong?

New Sequence From Clip Not Centered From Original

$

I have a 4k clip on a 4k sequence. I've added an overlay that shows a 1920x1080 border in the middle of the video. The idea I have is to pan/zoom the 4k clip so that I get exactly what I want to show within the 1080 border, which never moves and always stays in the center of the frame. I wasn't sure if this would work so I made a simple example to test it out. I moved my 4k clip so that its top left corner matched the top left corner of my 1080 border. I then panned the video down to the bottom right corner. Played the clip, and it looked good. I then created a new 1080 sequence and copied the clip into it. The video pans from top left to bottom right as expected, but both corners are offset leaving a good amount of the video offscreen even though I set the 1080 border to the exact corners. Examples below.

Here is the 4k clip with 1080 border at the top left.

4k.jpg

Here is the 1080 sequence with what should be the same framing as whats in the red border above, but clearly it is not.

1080.jpg

What am I missing? Is there another feature in Premiere that does what I'm trying to do? I just want to crop into my 4k footage, but still see what it outside the frame for editing purposes.

I recently updated premier to CC , since i have issues iimporting any .mov files at all.

The specific ones Im trying for my current project are exports from AE , rendered lossless animation .mov , worked fine in CS6 , will play in quicktime and other generic's but always getting the The FIle Has no Audio or Video Streams message when trying to import into a project.

Quicktime is updated so I can't understand why the won't play, is this a CC bug ?

i go back to cs6 on my other comp they open fine...

Ive seen a few topics on this none with a resolution and most of those where from cam's, this is an export from AE, anyone able to help this is stopping me from working atm ......

Working between different CC versions

Currently at work i am using premiere pro cc 2015.3

I have a job coming up next week that may require me to work at home as well as in my office. At home i am not running cc yet and will buy a months subscription to premiere pro cc. Im guessing it will be a much newer version.

Will i be able to work between each computer switching from editing in the office to home then back again or will the version changes stop me from downgrading?

Thank you!
